Look at the cover photo album on her Facebook. It's not in the typical "photo" section.I’ve seen so many people refer to the picture of stockings, but I’ve not found it anywhere. Can someone link it for me? Thank you.

I believe that If she ran away, then the parents would have reported her missing right away.I'm unfortunately not hopeful that this is the situation but given what I've read that's been released so far, it still seems at least possible M ran away and doesn't trust anyone enough to reach out for help. Regardless, IMO the parents are not off the hook even if that was the case and IMO this family has very unhealthy dynamics - but children are smart and often able to recognize even at a young age when their parents aren't well, and children of abuse/neglect are often wary of trusting ANYONE if they do choose to escape, especially if they've been isolated from friends and none of the adults around them have ever noticed or addressed the abuse/neglect.
I wish I believed this scenario more but even if I don't really feel it, IMO its still really important that people continue to share out her image far and wide and not give her up as deceased until it's known for certain. I wonder if she had a place she used to go when she was sad or hiding from family fights, or a place she wanted to visit someday like Disneyland or or a famous city like Paris or just a general idea like wanting to go to the beach... IMO I'd be very interested to see any of her classroom essays or artwork or things she may have noted or doodled in her notebooks. If she's still with us, I'm rooting for her.
The Neighbors reported it. No one thought it odd that they decided to burn a couch?Family of Madalina Cojocari lit a fire in yard after she disappeared
Neighbors recall seeing flames and smoke billowing from the yard of the Victoria Bay Drive home in late November, prompting calls to police and the fire department in Cornelius, North Carolina.www.dailymail.co.uk
It was odd, so they did report it. Did they dump everything left after fire into the lake? Hard to believe it was just a couch that burned for days...The Neighbors reported it. No one thought it odd that they decided to burn a couch?
Thanks for posting the statement from the Palmiter family.I don’t know how much TOS will allow me to share/post (Mods - please snip if needed); however, this is a public Facebook post by a member of CP’s family confirming that the letter is written by the P family.

I think this is an animal rescue and/or control unit. In my experience K-9s travel in dedicated, clearly marked vehicles with a visible caged area where the dog travels.I noticed that, too, but I was thinking more along the lines of an animal control or shelter truck than K-9 unit, like there might be pets in the home? I wonder if it was there the whole night (K-9 likely) or just a quick stop (pet pick up likely). With my newfound skill, I can post a screenshot, ha! It was from a Twitter feed.
(snipped for focus)Moldavia is a region in Romania, right at the border to Moldova.
Most confusingly, Western Moldavia (even worse, Moldova in Romanian) is an adjacent region in modern Romania:Bessarabia - Wikipedia

Thank you for sharing this. I was starting to think that Madalina had extended biological family in the US and not just her mother, but it looks like that's actually not the case.I don’t know how much TOS will allow me to share/post (Mods - please snip if needed); however, this is a public Facebook post by a member of CP’s family confirming that the letter is written by the P family.

I remember photo of LE with shovelsIn regards to the fire being in the backyard. I think if authorities suspected that, they would have secured that site and processed that site. Similar to Mackenzie Lueck or Tylee & JJ Vallow. If they have a suspicion that evidence may be there, I can't imagine them not securing that site.
This is what the neighbours said in another interview. For clarification purposes---was this fire burning while stepdad was on his road trip?
Or was it started when he returned from that trip?
SS from the above post. Just so it's a bit clearer to read. So mom was potentially still trying to get rid of evidence even after LE had been there? This is what the neighbours said in another interview.
...We spoke to a dozen neigbors who tell WCNC Charlotte, they noticed burning in their back yard at all hours, starting on November 27th, including Saturday morning, just hours before her mother was taken into custody...

Link?
So it remains unclear which side of M's family wrote the message, IMO. I have found two of stepdad's family posting publicly on FB about M's disappearance, pleading for her return. One has even changed their profile pic to M's missing poster."While it was unclear which family members penned the message, local news outlets reported that Diana Cojocari told investigators that she is from Moldova and said she had no family in the U.S."
This is from the stepfather's family? So they clearly have some kind of relationship with her.SS from the above post. Just so it's a bit clearer to read. Thanks for posting the link @cedgison
