I totally agree with you Ausgirl. I reckon he was an informant. Making deals with the devil leads to heartbreak :facepalm:.

They should NEVER make deals with people accused of violence or sex crimes.........

It seems like rape would be very difficult to prosecute without a victim testifying, even with DNA, unless victim is a minor. A jury needs to hear the victim say it was not consensual in any way, as the defense will almost always go that route. Jmo

Wow!!! One source said Odom bragged he could access Maggie's twitter! No wonder le was so upset about that reporter tweet!! This article also talks about how he was acting right after the murder. He had to know it was just a matter of time

Ausgirl, I find it amazing that this guy has had 2 rape charges, assault & strangulation charges all dropped. I'm kind of speechless. I understand this happens sometimes, but 2 times? Really? Maybe the offenses were against women he was dating him & they later changed their mind about the charges? I don't really think so though.

I agree that it's disgusting that this alleged murderers ugly mug was the last face Maggie may have seen. I wonder if he was smirking then too?

All these comments are just my opinions of course.
 
Rape wasn't the ONLY charge though - there was a heap of offenses there, some of which are NOT up to any victim to decide about the charges... and ALL of them were dropped. Twice? That just smells funny, to me.
 
I wonder if he accessed her apartment through the infamous unlocked door...he would would have watched, and known it was not always locked, Imo.
 
I have been out of the loop for a couple of days. Came back to see an arrest has been made in spite of a Twitter faux pas by media, it appears. This guy has that evil look and once again, we're here imagining the horrific last moments this beautiful girl likely endured at his hands. *shudder*

Rest in peace, Maggie.
 
How would he know how to access her Twitter? I am going to put on my sleuth hat and figure out my tweet mystery from 2012. The girl tweeted his name & screen names as if calling him out then after my tweet to her mentions something about calling people out for a good reason & being shocked. What a creep.

Agree, and it would seem very out of the norm to do so. Most CIs (confidential informants) would be involved with drug charges. These are serious offenses he was facing; not something where LE would want him out on the streets.

Ah love the smirk free mug shot...investigators can't very well wipe that smirk from his face in front of tv cams but anything can happen behind closed doors back at th police station.
 
Neighbors at Windsor Apartments on Saturday said they spoke with Odom when he was sitting on the front porch of his apartment. They said they didn’t know him well but chatted with him from time to time. They described him as unusually reserved, quiet and withdrawn.

bbm. It's so interesting to me that he presented as unusually withdrawn......his online videos make him seem the opposite - outrageously overconfident. I assumed from watching the self-recorded footage that he must present as brash and cocky in real life.

Big discrepancy between his public persona and his online self.:scared:

Maybe he was smoking marijuana all the time at home...being high could present as quiet and reserved.
