There was just a blip on the news with these same Wal-mart pics...I really thought the mom would have ruled them out by now if it wasn't her. Seems odd that they're still showing them and asking for info about the woman in them.

Just my 2¢ on issuing AA. I doubt the LE agency has issued many AA. I think they were trying to do everything they could to help find her. The first article posted didn't even have pictures. But they immediately called in assistance from several other agencies. While they might have limited experience, I do believe they're exhausting all resources to find her.

Yet another casualty of sexual misconduct allegations...definitely didn't see that one coming! I hope David Muir is safe...I love him.

The news stations all seem to be broadcasting the Wal-mart pics...maybe the mom couldn't rule out the possibility of that girl being Mariah? On one level, I hope that's the case because it might mean she's still alive. This whole case is very perplexing.

If this is her, I think mom and the boyfriend were in on her kidnapping for whatever reason. It looks convincing, and comments on social media show a family friend that looks exactly like that woman.....and a photo of sneakers on Mariah that look just like those the little girl is wearing in the pic.....

I'm starting to wonder if it had anything to do with a custody battle, like she didn't want the bio dad to get to see her or anything. But there are two other kids, not sure if they have the same father? I just hope the poor child is safe...

I don’t think it’s limited experience, I think it’s because of experience - have you seen the Sheriff’s bio? It’s pretty exemplary. I’d want someone like him involved if any of my loved ones went missing. I think they called in the FBI CARD quickly as the sheriff formerly worked ICAC, which has strong links with CARD, and would know the resources and expertise available.

They do have the same dad, so yeah, a custody issue wouldn't make much sense.

I was thinking the same about the woman looking like family or friend. It's the 1st thing that stood out to me.

Also reasons for the AA- it's near a military base. Multiple actually. The Royal Navy has been in town training recently. It's like the whole world watches that area. Not necessarily from a civilian standpoint.

Yes. The dad stated that CPS took her away from the mother and temporarily placed the child and her siblings in his care. But then the mom got her back. Probably satisfied her reunification plan, in my experience.

However, dad seems to have tried to keep the kids and was denied. He also states he was granted weekend visitation but hasn't seen the kids in a year because the mother won't let him and he lacks the funds to get an attorney to try to go back to court for help.

He and his new wife were weeping during an interview, tears rolling and snot everywhere, talking about the baby in he past tense and saying they knew something like this was going to happen but no one listened.

Given that, don't you think it would make sense that her first call would be to her ex? And that the police would start there, even before an amber alert?

Instead, he learned he daughter was missing from the news.

That tells me the mother knew exaclty what happened to her kid.



Exactly. And I assume tbe police asked that and they probably know by now.

I do not believe that kid's normal schedule was bed by 6. Early bedtimes are common with stable, middle class families who don't do drugs, like the bio dad is alleging they have an issue with. These people don't seem to match that demographic.

And please guys I know there are always exceptions. I'm just talking about about possibilities based on probabilities.



Not only that but the woman looks very relaxed as well, she's carrying a bunch of stuff in her hands and appears to be using her phone. Not tense and suspicious.

I am open, however, to the possibility that someone who knew the child decided to take her because they felt she was being abused or neglected. Lord that would be a miracle. The best case scenario. I pray that's what happened.



Unless they were passed out from drugs or alcohol. And are scared to say so.
