I got my fingers crossed she's awol. Best case scenario I can think of for this young lady.

The picture of her and her husband - wow. She is a tiny thing!

Authorities say Bordeaux is about 5 feet tall and weighs 99 pounds.

Here is her picture. She is very pretty. Doesn't sound like a good situation.

Praying for her, but it really doesn't sound good. Are there any rumblings about the body that was found?

I hate to read about the crimes surrounding or committed by our troops. Not that we know this one is a crime yet, but it's unlikely she chose not to report to duty. Did she leave the bar alone at 1:20am? Not good.

"During the early course of the investigation, there was some information that detectives received that leads us to believe she may be in danger," said police spokesman Gavin MacRoberts.

Her family members, including her husband, traveled from Florida Tuesday to assist investigators in the search.

Bordeaux's older sister, Olivia Cox, said it was out of character for her sister not to show up for work.

"Kelli is a good soldier. Kelli is not a soldier who would go AWOL," Cox said.

Investigators have not released any information about who she was with that night.

Bordeaux is a health services specialist with the 601st Area Support Medical Company, 261st Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 44th Medical Brigade.

She joined the military in April 2011 and arrived at Fort Bragg in November.

Article says last seen Saturday - so does that mean Friday night (Saturday at 1:20 am).
If so, then she was not reported missing over the whole weekend.

So when was a body found? 2:30 pm on what day? We don't know that the body is hers but still. A body could have been found Saturday, Sunday or Monday - we really don't know. Am I missing something?

The paper says Monday - so yesterday. Seems a bit scary that she is missing in the same town as a body is found.

The area where the body is found is miles away from the area that Nurse posted the bar's approx location. However, in the same town is in the same town.

Something spooked her and she got out of car?

Some guy tells above story. Is he telling the truth?
Who is the guy?

Mother on the phone.
Kelli and Michael live in Fayetteville together but he was down in FL visiting his Father. They were having some marital problems.
They live off-post.

Bar is 9 miles from Post.

Mother doesn't suspect the husband at all. He deeply, deeply loves her.

Mother - God bless her - is heading to Fayetteville asap.

woe, the way I read the articles it was like closing time (early in the wee hours of sat morning) of the bar from going out on friday night.

I am not sure if she had roommates or lived in the barracks (most likely the latter if her husband was still in Florida which the other article intimates. (she was most likely considered a "geographical bachelor" if she was stationed there unaccompanied thus barracks or maybe husband just was visiting family in florida?)

the other article I linked said LE are not releasing who she was with that night

wonder if her phone or purse are missing? Did she drive? Did she have a car down there?

Yes, some guy told (whoever) that she got out of the car because something spooked her. They didn't say who - a friend?

Anyway, I looked up and Kelli's face was on my TV. The volume was muted. By the time I unmuted, I don't know how much of the interview I missed.

My TIVO broke and I don't think I can watch JVM at 2AM to hear the complete interview.

Where is Oriah and SARX? Oriah lives in Fayetteville! Oriah would be so knowledgeable of the area.

Oh, this poor female soldier and her family! My granddaughter processed out of the military there at Ft. Bragg and her husband is still Special Forces there except he is in Korea for now. There are hundreds of good soldiers at Ft. Bragg that could help find her if they are allowed, IMO.

Where is Kelli? I do hope LE has spoken with whomever dropped her off. JVM just had Kelli's sister on and Kelli's Mom was on the phone. Kelli's Mom is making arrangements to be in Fayetteville tomorrow.

Please, please let Kelli be okay!! I am so afraid for her.

Tuesday night, police were still interviewing family and friends, to try and determine who she was with, when she was last seen.

Bordeaux is originally from Orlando, FL, but was stationed at Ft. Bragg. She is married to Mike Bordeaux, a civilian.
