Hi there. Wow, I just did some snooping around the Web hoping to turn up some info to see if anybody might be searching for Kelli in and around Florida. I didn't find that exactly but I did run across a wealth of info regarding the relationship between Kelli and her soon to be ex husband. Can't post the details here because it's not mainstream news but maybe when it becomes . . . - Nancy Grace where are you?

If everything I've read is true, then MB just rose to the top of my suspect list. I sure hope LE is looking into all of the inconsistencies in his story and, if true, I can understand why Kelli's in-laws have kept out of the picture.

Top of my list now too!! But I'm probably wrong lol

NH could not have been arrested if there were no legal reason. He violated some conditions of his release and that's what he was charged with. True, without the KB case he might not have been discovered to be in violation, but that was a risk he was taking. No guarantees if one is not in compliance with the laws and rules.

If NH were not the last one known to be with KB he would not be under the same level of scrutiny. He is a suspect exactly because he is the last person known to be with the victim than for past crimes. Had he complied 100% with whatever his parole terms were, including updating his address and making sure he wasn't within whatever range of children the order stated, he would not be in jail right now.

Is NH a convenient target? Time will tell. He won't be charged with KB's crime without evidence linking him to it.

You may be right. Time will tell. BUT this is targeting NH. Raising
suspicions or thinking something happened may be a lot of people's
thoughts, but they are not facts.
The state of her marriage does raise a huge flag with me. Have seen
it happen here way to often. If LE isn't looking at this angle then
they are not doing their job in my opinion.

And if LE has completely investigated MB and can account for his where abouts that weekend, there by clearing him of any involvement in Kelli's disappearance, they are under NO obligation to tell the public such.

I realize her husband doesn't have to prove anything to us....
but his comments are making me question him....
such as:
I would never lay ahand on her..
Her apartment looked like it did before she left...
We were happy....
No troubles in our marriage...
I came home to VISIT my parents...

I can lay an arguement to all of those except the first one...!!!!
Just sayin of what I know.....

I stepped back and took a breather from this case, and am so sad to see nothing is new. Not one new media report, not one new bit of useless info to follow up and begin digging on...I am so disheartened. I hope LE is getting somewhere in this case, and not just hitting dead ends. Was so hoping to hear something/anything by now? Where is poor Kelli? :(

I wonder if there will be another search this weekend? nothing new in the news. :banghead:

nurse, they've gone back to their perspective states. I read that here when I came back from my cool down period.

K's mil and fil were never in NC I don't believe.

Here's an article (from page 9 on this thread) about Kelli's mom returning to her home - http://www.wral.com/news/local/story/11061338/
I'll see if I can find where I read sister, brother and Uncle had returned too.

They have all gone home.

I think LE should also try to talk to people that knew Nick before he went to jail and anyone he may have dated or hung out with before Froggy's. That may give LE some other ideas of places Nick was really familiar with and may have used as a dumping site.

They have done this.

I think regardless of who actually did it, someone staying local or traveling hundreds of miles, there is so much area that should be searched. Just looking locally, if you pull up a map and locate Froggys, (take into consideration that a cell phone can easily be tossed from the window of a moving car, crushed by others or lost in a body of water) consider going North toward Linden. Do you see all that wooded area and those lakes/ponds? And from Froggys to where Ramsey splits with Linden Rd is only a 10 minute drive that is not in heavy use especially at that time of night. There are few businesses that might have cameras in between.

Obviously to the west is 295. Hop on that and you pass over the Cape Fear River, and takes you not only to Wade NC but it's only a 12 minute drive to 95, if that! 95 is gonna run you north or south along the entire east coast. 20 minutes north of this interchange is 40 which is going to run you west to the ocean or north east through Raleigh and on to Greensboro where you can pick up two major highways to run west on.

If you go South you are gonna head to downtown Fville. Not really ideal for this situation, but you can also pick up 95 this way, or you can head west through various side streets toward Spring Lake and the bases.

If you go West from Froggys you can jump right on Andrews Rd. It too is pretty desolate at night. You will run into McArthur and you can go in all directions at that point again, up toward Linden on an even more desolate road head down Honeycutt toward the base or McArthur/McCormick bridge straight out to Spring Lake. You can also head back toward Ramsey St.

The location possibilities are endless. Look at those points and then see the massive areas that is possibly covered. I do not believe it would be hard to transport someone or a body that late at night from that location. Don't do something stupid and you won't get pulled over.

I believe something or someone is going to have to snap for this to be solved.

Porta...I too had to take a breather on this case. I think a lot of us did.
When this case first broke, and we learned about NH, I thought solving this crime would be a no brainer. I am so sad that I was wrong. Kelli's family deserves for Kelli to come home.

i read somewhere that hubby went home with kellis mom. Tenn? sorry no link. moo

Basically, they are searching for a needle in very very large haystack. :notgood:

Yep!!!! If she was buried they may never find her.:maddening: moo

I highly doubt they are going to find her, and about all we can hope for, is someone to fall over her remains in the months and years to come because I can't see very many searches on the horizon. I'm very sad and disappointed.

It's just been confirmed to me that yes, that is where he is, TN.

VOH, can you tell me why the family has not entered Kelli's information into the National Missing Persons Registry run by the Dept of Justice? It is really important that they do that in case Kelli is found somewhere outside of the local area. The family can do this on their own without LE having to give their approval or anything. If you have any contact with the family, or know someone who does, please pass along this information to them.

Thanks

Hey us wrong types have to hit the nail on the head eventually, right?
I don't want to hit that nail if I'm wrong though - just want the truth and a fair investigation that leads to answers for Kelli's family.

I love it that 'okay then' has thanked you for this post. Thud. Why wouldn't LE tell us?
