She was selling Kirby vacuum cleaners and didn't return the demo I assume.

One of those charges is larceny in Burke County. Courthouse records indicate Magistrate Christopher Duckworth issued a warrant for Baker’s arrest on Feb. 1 for larceny by an employee. The complainant listed is T. Campbell of the Glen Alpine Police Department. The warrant claimed Baker took a Kirby Sentra vacuum cleaner from JC and Associates, her employer at the time. Her Burke County court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 1

Looks like that one has been put over until Nov 1st.

Excellent thank-you. Puts to rest my mind, hadn't seen it yet. Sheesh, if it wasn't nailed down, this woman would steal it.

It's not been my experience that lupus is one of those "when all else fails" type diagnoses. There are a lot of blood tests that can be used to check for various types of lupus and associated syndromes, the most common marker being a high count on the ANA test (also sed rate, c-reactive protein, tests for sjogren's -- lots of things to be looked at). I think it would be hard for someone to successfully fake lupus.

Totally! The reason it is so hard to dx is because there are so many tests required. It's not a "catch all." It's that the patient has so many abnormal results on labs (and even biopsies) that they exclude all other possible diseases until all they're left with is LE. It is far from the patient being vaguely ill and so they decide on lupus. I don't see it as one that can be faked or a malinger's disease either. (But I also don't consider it a "rare" disease either, as I recall EB hinting that it was.)

Yes, but that usually results in someone who really has lupus not being properly diagnosed rather than someone who is faking being given that diagnosis. Sometimes takes lots of doctors and lots of tests and years of suffering with it before it's recognized as lupus. I don't know anyone who was diagnosed based on self-reported symptoms alone.

The diagnosis process was brutal. Mine took over 11 years and 8 different doctors. (I'm not a fan of Drs. either) AH should absolutely have a lengthy medical history indeed if she actually HAS Lupus.

As far as I know, cohabitation is illegal in NC and there is no common law marraige.

I don't have a link. I got this info from a lawyer I was cohabitating illegally with in NC. :D

ETA: Linkage! Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common-law_marriage_in_the_United_States

The following states never permitted common-law marriages: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Note that common-law marriage was never known in Louisiana, which is a French civil or code law jurisdiction, not an English common law jurisdiction. As such, it is a former Council of Trent jurisdiction.

Generally speaking the meds for Lupus contain steroids and do quite the opposite (gain weight). As far as prescription drug induced Lupus, that is a theory of ONE of the things that can can trigger Lupus but so far I've seen no medical proof. So it's speculation.

Yes! I went from 115lbs to 150+ in less than 8 months on the steroids (Prednisone). Plus, I currently carry the dx for drug induced lupus. It is not as severe as typical LE but let me assure you ~ it is not speculation!

Just wanted to repost this last upload to her photobucket account again...

This is an avatar for some site she was likely on. Maybe that's how she scammed the money out of the London guy...a Lupus forum?

Could be.. either that or that image is from the Lupus charity group on Facebook. There's a big group there that uses that ribbon graphic as a logo.

This quote was thrown out by a sheriff who is NOT the lead policeman (and it was made some 4-5 days ago) He's a sheriff of BURKE county ((not even the county where the crime was committed). All officers that are actually dealing with AB have been reporting he is cooperating 100% :waitasec:

Burke County has been part of the search for Zahra. Burke, Caldwell and Catawba are all closely linked...their borders are steps from each other. See the link below for information about Burke County Sheriff's Department and their work in and around Hartland Road. This is the area that was extensively searched around the wood chipper. All of these investigators and Law Enforcement Officers are working together.

So....at one time Burke County Sheriff McDevitt was the lead officer in the search of his county.

I agree that diagnosis of lupus can be difficult. However, you would be surprised at how many people self-diagnose. Many, many claims have come across my desk with Lupus listed as their disability, only to find out that there has been no diagnosis or testing, or, the MDs have actually ruled it out.

It is one of the flavor-of-the-month illnesses for trying to get disability. Another one would be multiple sclerosis.

(not meant as an insult to those who actually have lupus or MS. They can be a terrible illnesses to manage)

As to the Lupus and other diseases she may have been trying to get disability for...

Miss Gothicfairy6668 made a comment on a myspace page, to paraphrase, that she is very fed up with Dr's that don't listen, and how she wants to psycho on all of them. This was posted by her on 25 Mar 2009 11.52am

This link is not okay to post as the person has not been mentioned on MSM but the myspace page is open to the public. I think her comment is pertinent due to her previous discussions about her brain cancer (survived it 3 times) and her incurable disease - Lupus.

Thank you for this! See I told ya'll I learned something new here every day....I did not know we don't have common law marriage in TN! Don't know why I need to know that but now I do if it comes up in conversation, lol.

I bet you see a lot of self-diagnosed fibromyalgia, too. My rheumatologist said it's bad enough that doctors over-diagnose it but that people are deciding on their own now that they have it, too. (And that's not to diminish it for those who really do, of course...I'm sure it's miserable.)

Working on 7 partners and starting at 16 works out to 3.71 yrs each .......
:abnormal:

Just saw this one Beagle...thanks for doing the math for me LOL.

Actually you're calculations are about right. She was 17 when her first child was born and she met AB in 2007. So it looks like it was his time to go LOL.

Good info - thanks!

So.. now I wonder..

is there anything illegal about taking on (and using for financial and identification purposes) the surname of a man cohabitated with?

EB seemed to change her name with each cohabitation and sign checks with whatever that name was at the time.

Also, her drivers license has been revoked for a longgg time.. but somehow she was id'd under the various cohabitating men's names in traffic stops over the years. (Caveat: she has several charges related to "fictitious drivers license", however.)

I don't have a link to her alias list handy, so I'll just refer to her criminal records as source --

Part 1

Part 2
http://www.wikiupload.com/EHEzcJ6V

Note: Today I found (additional) numerous other misdemeanors under one of her aliases. Mostly bad checks.. but I'll be posting them at some point soon.

Also, I found some indications that EB's daughter BS has the same father as son DP (of course, the only way we'd know this for certain is if we could see paternity tests.. lol). In the past, BS' name was BP. Just thought I'd toss that out for those who have been working on family tree sorts of docs.

Maybe she's got bullet-induced lupus...didn't she say she was shot in the line of duty?

I just get this sickining feeling in the pit of my stomach when I think about that mattress being taken by LE..
and todays pressor makes me think it even more... (paraphrasing) They said after interviewing people they have decided to check the landfill... I think a neighbor has seen a mattress along side the road for garbage pick-up... maybe at or near one of the old addresses. I think this maybe why they have a death scent in the Tahoe...and LE has taken the bed set because they suspect that they will not find Zahra's DNA on it.. Could also be why they were still questing if Zahra actually moved there... I get a lump in my thoat just typing this... as always ...JMO

LMAO

IMO, she's fed up with doctors that don't diagnose her with lupus even though she has told them she has it!

I rest my case, haha.
