the mother received a text from her.

I think the ppl snatched her and they texted her mom, not Savanna.

I think so too. When it was stated the upstairs neighbour asked Savanna to model clothes and do a fitting of sorts, I wondered why. Savanna was 8 months pregnant....she wouldn't exactly be a candidate to model clothes. (unless the neighbour was a seamstress or clothes designer for maternity clothes in particular)
Made no sense.

From the way I read it, the stolen clothing was something that happened in the past. Also I never saw any reports that said the neighbors had been publicly cleared.

I'm sorry. I thought I read in several articles that the police said the man and women in that apartment had nothing to do with the disappearance.

Some dumb questions:

Would she have to be alive during a C Section?

Also what about the breastfeeding aspect?

Could they have induced labor with drugs? I saw upstream it takes time for that to work...if they were holding her somewhere?

If they're nuts enough to perform surgery, might they have dismembered her?

Just came across this today and read from the beginning. I too suspect her phone was snatched from her and the whole "modelling a dress" was likely not a text sent by her. Only because her BF said they were texting rapidly back and forth then suddenly the convo just stopped. He also mentioned (paraphrasing) that was totally unlike her. Right around the same time the dress info went to her mother.

Sadly, I don't think this poor girl will be found alive and I don't suppose it will be too much longer before we have an announcement from LE on the two creeps they're questioning. Along with names, and mugshots.

My prayers go out to the Greywind family and to Savanna's BF. I can't even imagine the heartbreak.

Can you imagine having to live in the same building with these....people and having to watch them come and go knowing they did something to your loved one? It just breaks my heart for this family.
Hell no i would not watch. If i seen them i would forcefully question myself. Id be sitting on front of that apartment day n night listening... especially if i seen them with a bag id attack them idc if i go too jail.

Poor sweet pea being without his/her mama.

This is just really sad. Hugs everyone.

This case is too much. It is making my physically sick thinking of what she went through and now the anguish her family and daughter will endure.

So riddle me this. The family doesn't know this woman but she somehow has the moms number to text her?

The only person I've seen cleared by the police is Dawn Kirby. Someone made a post on social media saying she was the woman that lived in that apartment, but it turned out to be mistaken identity. Dawn actually lives in a different apartment building. I hope that makes sense. It's very confusing if you are trying to catch up with the story.

I went back and re-read. While they didn't clear them, the wording may have led them to believe they weren't under suspicion.

Is this the saddest and craziest thing I've heard in awhile....Bless this baby and hope the family finds their dear girl...

I don't have a link handy, but it has been reported that the baby is a little girl. Just an FYI. Poor sweet wee one to go through life without her mommy's loving arms. :tears:

Please find Savanna soon, LE. my heart is hurting so very much for her family/boyfriend.

Possibly they took her phone and found "mom" in her contacts and texted that number.

They took Savanna's phone and looked up her contacts?

My question is why did they contact Savanna's mom in the first place, divulging where Savanna was, if it wasn't Savanna's text?

Am I understanding correctly? Savannah "apparently" texted her mom to tell her she was upstairs?

Seems to me, in addition to being monsters, these two must have the IQs of a log.

I mean, clearly these two aren't the smartest, but I still think it's more likely that Savanna herself texted her mom. If not, there would be no reason for the couple to implicate themselves. They probably didn't even realize that Savanna told anyone where she was going.

ETA: This is my theory, obviously just my own opinion. They invite her up to the apartment thinking that no one would know where she was. They have a scuffle in the bathroom which the downstairs neighbors overhear. Then her brother shows up, they don't answer the door. Shortly after her father comes upstairs looking for her, they say she's not done. At this point, they realize that the family knows where she was going so they have to get her out of the apartment. She must have been alive at this point if the baby is only 2 days old so they somehow convinced her to leave with them. Possibly ensuring her safety if she goes with or threatening to kill her/the baby if she doesn't leave with them. At one point, there were reports that she was seen outside the apartment around 2:30. They move her to another location. The male probably stays with her while the female returns to the apartment. Around 4:30, Savanna's mom knocks on the door and the female says she has left already. That would explain why there was reportedly no forensic evidence of Savanna or the baby during the initial searches. And could very well be why the suspects felt comfortable letting LE search the premises. Maybe they planned to keep her until she delivered or maybe they just needed to gather things for a 'C-section' and that's what held things up a few days.

No one is safe anymore anywhere! What a bunch of 's to harm a pregnant woman. Evil is everywhere. Praying Dad can hold his sweet baby daughter soon and grandparents get the chance as well. Prayers to them all!

Except, if this is the same woman Savanna herself posted about on FB re: the stolen clothes, it does seem rather unlikely she'd just willing go off with this woman. I don't know, the whole thing is a vile, wicked mess. It's also entirely possible whoever called Savanna's mom with the Buffalo River State Park message just threw out a red herring. Why give themselves away like that? They have to know there'll likely be some forensic evidence on Savanna leading LE straight back to them. Unless of course, they do in fact have the IQ of a log, as was mentioned upthread.

At one point, authorities brought in dogs to search the apartment building, and Silk said afterward they apparently found something, though family members were being told by police not to share what they were told.

There was no word Thursday evening as to whether police had found signs of LaFontaine-Greywind, who lives with her parents in a first-floor unit of the building.

I'm wondering if they took her to Grand Forks, and then brought the baby back when the police in Grand Forks got involved. Maybe they thought they would be safe after three searches and being publicly cleared. I don't think they intended to keep the baby there, but the involvement of Grand Forks Police changed their plans.
moo of course
Agreed
I still wonder who the 4 men were
