Info from Dutch police:
a passerby found the body of an unknown woman on Saturday the 22nd of June 2019 around noon in a field near the Sint Anthoniekade in Westdorpe. The body was found just meters away from the Belgium border (as such there is also contact with the Belgium police to exchange information). Because of the injuries to the body the police suspect the woman was the victim of a crime.

The woman did wear any clothing or jewelry
The woman has had one or more operations in which her: uterus, gall bladder, ovaries and cecum have been removed

My remarks:
The woman likely died in the days prior (based on the images)
This is near a canal which leads from Zeeland/the sea to Ghent, roughly 20 km north of Ghent and 10 km south of Terneuzen.
The location seems to be close by some buildings, harbor activity and places for larger inland vessels to spend the night. It's within a few hundred meters of both a small village in the Netherlands (pop 4000) and a somewhat larger village in Belgium (pop 12000).
On the other hand it's somewhat remote, the road (which is forbidden for cars officially) dead ends where the body was found.
There is a small self-catering camping a few hundred meters away, further it seems to be mostly a place where people fish, walk, cycle. In general the place and surroundings are described as quiet, but also sometimes attracting drug dealers, people in affairs meeting up or the occasional dumping of garbage (sometimes drug garbage)

Unknown woman to be buried anonymously (nu.nl, Dutch)

She will be buried anonymously at the 13th of August in Terneuzen.
The article says that she has been shot to death. The police has checked missing persons cases from the Netherlands and belgium and DNA, fingerprints and dentals have been checked. There have been 174 tips, but none of these lead to the identity of the woman or the perpetrator.

The police suspects she was shot elsewhere and dumped at the Sint Anthoniekade. She had died recently, maximally a few days prior.

At the location a garbage bag with French text has been found which is possible related to the crime.

They suspect the woman was leading a good/healthy live prior to her death. She was well cared for based on the fact that her dentals and nails were well maintained.

The police still have hope that she can find out who the dead woman was, found in the end of June in a pasture in Westdorpe Zeeland. That said Martine Jacobs, team leader of the research, Tuesday after the anonymous funeral of the woman in Terneuzen against NU.nl.

"I think it's a matter of patience until her identity comes up. And I think we're going to solve the murder if her identity is known, "says Jacobs. "I haven't given up hope for a long time. "

The shot woman was found naked in a meadow on 22 June. She was not shot in that pasture, and according to the Public Prosecutor's Office (OM) "Still full life".

In Total, the police so far got 264 tips about the woman who was found on June 22 by a passer-by. She was probably shot at an unknown place and then left in the pasture at the Sint Anthonie Quay on the Dutch-Belgian border. It is a white woman of between 50 and 65 years with short reddish hair and a normal handlebar. She is 1.65 to 1.70 meters long.

According to the research team, the woman cared for herself well. This is evident in the state of her teeth and nails. ,, Presumably she was still in life, "says Officer of Justice Kim Weijers earlier.

The research team investigated many of the cases in the Netherlands and Belgium and compared DNA, fingerprints and dental data. Yet it has not yet succeeded in finding out the identity of the woman. Despite more than 400 tips, the identity of the woman found dead on 22 June 2019 remains a mystery. The police hope that someone will recognize her thanks to a post-mortem drawing. The drawing shows what the woman probably looked like when she was alive.

A passer-by found the deceased woman on 22 June 2019 in a meadow in Westdorpe. Presumably she was shot dead elsewhere and left behind in the field.

Section has shown that her uterus, ovaries, and gallbladder have been removed. The woman also underwent appendectomy at one time or another.

A photograph of the victim had already been distributed earlier. Hopefully someone will recognize the woman with the help of the drawing and photo.

The police are extremely grateful for all the reactions: more than four hundred. Although there are still a few tips that need to be looked into abroad, the rest have already been investigated.
Some tips were about a missing German woman called Mrs Ritschel and a missing Norwegian woman called Mrs Hagen, but there is no DNA match with either of them.

The woman's body was buried in a nameless grave in August 2019. According to Omroep Zeeland, about ten people were present at the funeral, including mayor Jan Lonink of Terneuzen.

So few clues: it led the police to publicize that the woman had undergone operations on her ovaries, uterus, appendix and gallbladder. Combined with the good condition of her teeth, the police suspect that the woman has always taken good care of herself and "stood in the middle of life". In addition, disclosing the intimate details served a further purpose: who knows, a doctor remembers that this woman was once on the treatment table.
It goes a long way, Dekkers acknowledges, to bring out details about medical interventions. "But our first priority in this case is to identify the victim".

Photos of the deceased woman were distributed, composition drawings, investigation reports in Dutch, French, German, Polish, Portuguese and English. 15,000 euros were donated for the golden tip and the media were mobilized in every way possible. In the end it yielded six hundred clues, but the golden tip was not among them.

Now, a year later, the Public Prosecutor's Office still says it receives clues on a weekly basis. "Police and justice really hope to be able to solve the case, but for the time being they have no idea of the identity of the woman, let alone the suspect(s)," according to a spokesperson. "We are working hard on this and will continue to do so!"

I find it remarkable that she was left with no clues whatsoever like jewellery or clothes yet in a location where she was easily found, within days ~ with lots of bushes and water nearby but not in the bushes or the water.

Makes me think that for some reason whoever did this was organized and had to get rid of her remains in a hurry.

Given the time of the year, might she have been on a motorboat, perhaps owned a boat together with a possible partner? Leaving her on the land would have been done to hide the fact that a boat was involved while the location suggests transport by car.

Makes me think that for some reason whoever did this was organized and had to get rid of her remains in a hurry.

Given the time of the year, might she have been on a motorboat, perhaps owned a boat together with a possible partner? Leaving her on the land would have been done to hide the fact that a boat was involved while the location suggests transport by car.

Laying her in the open like that could be of importance. It looks like the killer wanted her to be found. I wonder if she was faced down or up, stretched out or just thrown down. Where does the garbage bag comes to place? Did it cover her face or other part of the body, was it used to prevent bleeding from her bullet wound(s)? Or was it just laying there in the surroundings? So many questions. I have the feeling that somehow the killer, although stripped from potential recognizable items (clothes, jewelry) to prevent identification, knew it would be hard to identify her. Maybe she was estranged from her family, didn't have close family or wouldn't be called in as a missing person for another reason. Could it be she was killed to scare somebody off or blackmailing somebody. Her being found as proof for the insiders and to scared to go to the police?

The Sint Anthoniekade is hardly suitable for cars. It's very small but seemingly it's possible to come to that spot with a car (see picture). The road is not permitted to be used by the public. It's private property (there is a sign with Eigen Weg, Rijkswaterstaat). I doubt there is much of traffic control over there though. Maybe it's occasionally used by people who work on the industrial area, by "boat-people" or by those who want to fish. It's possible she was killed on a boat and her body dumped there. The question is indeed why there and why in plain sight.

On the other hand I would suspect some kind of surveillance around the industrial area or at least CCTV.

If she was dumped there at night I wonder how dark it would actually be out there. There are lamps on the industrial terrain and along the canal.

A few meters next to her naked body, investigators found a garbage bag from the supermarket chain Intermarché, a chain with more than 8,000 branches in nine countries, mainly France and Wallonia, but also as far as Poland. The police do not want to say what was in the garbage bag, but that a forensic investigation shows that the bag can be linked to the woman.
