I'm so glad Padilla quashed the rumor that Tim Miller had been allowed access to the crime scene Thursday. I also enjoyed the grin on his face when he said the defense could complain all they wanted about not being allowed immediate access to a crime scene. :clap:

The defense always pretends to be worried about that - when really they just want to cast doubt on the Prosecution case.

This is to be expected. They will question every blade of grass and every strip of plastic.

Wouldn't it be interesting if she dropped her blackjack phone whilst disposing of the body? My cellphone falls out of my pocket occasionally when bending over or getting out of the car. If she lost hers out there and didn't realize it until later, she may have thought it too risky to be seen poking around out there looking for it.

My kids each had a special blankey which went with them everywhere. Maybe Caylee was buried with some kind of comfort item like a blankey or bear.

I saw it said as well. However, Tim Miller did not walk all the way to the scene. He was several feet from it and could see what it looked like. Tim Miller has a very close working relationship with LE. He is not just anyone. Tim has recovered bodies and would know if the grass/dirt looked as if something had lain there a long time. His analogy was that if you roll a log over, you can see from what the grass or earth underneath that an object had been there a long time and even created an indention.

LE escorted Tim Miller back there a few feet from the scene.

Correct, on 2 computers. Hers (Cindy's) and Rico's. Same time frame.

FWIW, I think the Chloroform issue is sexual. Remember the whole Robert Chambers preppy murder defense? The whole sexual asphyxiation thing is not new, and would also describe why she was searching the kneck breaking angle. Rico deleted an image indicating same from his myspace immediately after Casey's arrest.

The chloroform found in the air samples contained no acetone, so we know it is pure. I personally think she dumped that and gas in the trunk to attempt to mask the smell, and the stain.

Noone lied. TM was standing next to the detectives and was able to see into and observe the crime scene. It really isn't that far from the road. He did not go into the actual working scene itself, but he could see where the bag was etc. LE needed his input into what had and had not been searched in the area. They probably walked some distance into the woods, but did not enter into the area that was considered the direct crime scene. (At least not considered at that time, they did expand the area afterwards.)

Then Jose' will go back to defending drug dealers, prostitutes, and felony cases! Oh yes, there will be the occasional manslaughter case he will lose.

LOL, everything will quiet down for him when this case is over and he will have plenty of time to reflect and figure out why he is not liked!

I disagree with your prediction. A lot of defense attorneys have self-important reasons for their choices,and I am sure JB is just as self-important as the rest, if not more, but defense attorneys play a critically important role in the legal system. I think for the most part people will see that he is perhaps in over his head and made mistakes, but had a very difficult client and he did his best to defend her, but he has a lot to learn.

I think he likes the publicity and plans to expand on it, but I don't get the feeling that he is a bad person or evil, and I don't get the feeling that he is trying to win friends or influence people. He is trying to defend a client who insists on lying.
