Ya know you might be on to something here with the whole pregnancy thing. JB is trying to get her trial moved to March? Watch and see. He'll get it moved again simply by requesting change of venue. Another stall tactic. In the meantime? No one from the public has any view of KC. In jailhouse video visits they keep the camera up towards the top half anyway. Medical records in jail are covered under the same HIPPA laws as well. By the time all this jurisdictional dancing by JB gets done?
Baby will have been born. AND once again because of the HIPPA laws I don't believe we would be privvy to that information either.
Just FYI it's actually HIPAA. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. And yes, medical records in jail are covered the same as everywhere else, except in a prison situation, often the prisoners don't have the right to the records freely. The jail, in a treatment situation is the one that either requests from a former physician, etc., or is the one that maintains the records for any treatments given during the time the person is incarcerated.
