ok, I have to put my opinion on here, because I am 21 and it seems my age could be of use here, and also because I have gone through all the threads and I really just want to put a few things out there that I haven't seen anyone else address. First, let me just say I have had a colorful social life and as far as this behavior being "the norm" or not, it kind of falls somewhere right in the middle. Ok, I am not trying to offend anyone with what I say next, just giving it to you straight. Yes, this behavior is the norm for uh, certain girls and it is true that it is not hard to find this at an average high school/college age party or at a bar. But let me just say that these girls are looked at as jokes and they are the typical low self-esteem, I-need-attention type of girls. Like I said, sorry if I offended anyone I am just being honest. Anyone denying that they put on this ostentatious display out in public just to "have a good time", and not to get attention, are in some serious denial. I work at a bar, and at 1 a.m every Thursday all the ladies are encouraged to dance on the bar to get free shots. What I see then is way worse than any of these pictures. Let's just say it's an upscale bar downtown, so most girls wear dresses, and um no underwear. And they are dancing on the bar provacatively with other girls, and yes you can see everything. Let me just say 99.9% of the girls are NOT attractive, but you would think it was a bunch of supermodels up there they way some guys drool over them. And the girls love it. Like as if the guy ogling at you means you're gorgeous and a hot dancer, it has nothing to do with the fact that he's hammered and horny and your is right in his face. Sorry I went on so long here, but when I saw these pictures I cringed and Casey and her friends remind me of those girls I see every week. Whoever called Casey a "flailing dork" (lol) is right on. I'm sorry, this party is a bunch of dorks, and Casey is the queen. To whoever said this is NOT the norm, you are right in a way, because it isn't a norm for well, cultured people. Those type of guys that gawk at girls like that?? Yeah, they might take one of those girls home, but they are never going to take those poor girls seriously. Guys say the most horrible things about girls like this..please ask a young guy what a butterface or a brownbagger is. This is not a prudish point of view, both of my jobs are promo work and I have to wear tiny outfits in public but I would NEVER act the way Casey and her friends do in those pictures. Just because something is normal to see doesn't make it THE NORM. They are two different things. The ideas of X laden lollipops and Casey and her friends being "hired entertainment" are just funny to me. Also I have seen people on X, Casey isn't. Taking the time and effort to put X in a sucker is something only serious druggies do for big rave parties..these pictures would be about 100 times more vulgar and everyone would have a sucker. And hired entertainment?? There are about 100 reasons why this is wrong, but I think those have all been listed so I'll just say one that hasn't..you can't take pictures of them. They will usually check everyone for cellphones/cameras beforehand and have them put in a different room until the "show" is over. But yeah that is the least of why this is not the case. If anything, they paid those people to let them come to their party. I know I would have demanded compensation if i personally witnessed that "triple kiss". Anyway, I don't see why these pictures are relevant to the case, I think the really sad thing here is the growing problem with the acceptance of women making shows out of themselves in public. But this thread isn't about discussing the psyche of attention wh*res, it's about Caylee. Unless someone can show me how these pictures relate to anything in the case, I think we need to put them on the backburner. JMO
