Well,I don't know what happened to this sweet little boy.I pray they find out who is very soon.

I feel fairly sure that this child is not someone we know about, or who was officially missing. I think he was probably given something to sleep, for example, and never woke up and the caregiver panicked. LE did say they are awaiting toxicology, I believe, and while they say the death is suspicious, they did not indicate apparent trauma.

It is possible this is a family who only recently moved to whatever area they lived in. And although the image of the child is being sent about more widely now, there are still millions of people who will not see it. I do hope at least one person does, who knows who this child it.

Just a reminder...

CNN main running on their ticker info sought on the boy. Hopefully there will be more on the story.

still no ID yet. This is very troubling. Someone must be missing this little guy. And if not, how very sad.

I went ahead and sent the photo to a detective in Maine. I bet its nothing tho. But like you said, you never know.

So, driving to and from work this week has not been the same as other days.

I checked vehicles traveling both ways.

I drive a truck. Small one, Ford Edge Ranger. It's mine. My choice. I drive it to and from work. Mr. Summer "borrows" it all the time....I used to have a Chevy 150 full size prior to the Ranger.

We do not have curb side pick up for trash, etc. We must bring our own to the "transfer" station. (Dump) Recycle glass, separate brown, green, clear, cardboard, plastic, etc. All must be kept separate and brought to different areas of the transfer station. Includes (raked) leaves, Christmas trees, grass clippings and on and on. The trucks are very handy for this reason alone.

I did not even realize there was a vigil tonight until I read this thread.

Soar with the angels, Little Boy Blue.

Oh my god!!!!! I have it on JVM right now and she is covering this case. At the end of her talking in the opening she said "And could it be missing Kyron Hormon" WTF why would think it would Kryon???? You guys might want to get it on JVM right now.

Looking at Military Connections

Police believe the person who dumped a little boy's body on a rural Maine road may have connections to the military, and they've enlisted the help of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service to help identify the boy.

The eyewitness who spotted a woman driving a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on Dennett Road the day the boy's body was found said she saw a Navy insignia embossed in or around the truck's license plate.

"We're really starting to wonder if the individual involved with this truck is a member of the military," said Maine State Police Lt. Brian McDonough. "We're starting to think that way because we just got no information from any neighbors, any family members. ... Maybe these people are ... assigned a temporary duty in the military and aren't that well known or embedded into the community and again would have family outside of the state or outside of the region."

The State Police Computer Crimes Unit produced a computer-generated photo of the unidentified boy. The boy was 3 feet, 8 inches tall and weighed 45 pounds. He had dirty blond hair and blue eyes. His baby teeth had yet to fall out.

Norfolk naval base is Huge...I live in Va Beach close to Norfolk....also we also have Oceana with is navy but a master jet base, and dam neck, where the seal teams are.

Footage was just shown on NECN at the vigil. Cold & rainy there just like here. Many sad people looking for answers.

The Union Leader clued us in on the boy they did a check on they thought might be but the lead didn't pan out. Thankfully, that child was found safe. This article also appears to indicate the truck has a full on camper type "cap" "lid" "shell" or whatever one calls it.

"That same morning, Maine State Police also issued a beon- the-lookout alert for a family from the Ashland, N.H., area, including a 57-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 5-yearold boy, but called it off after finding the family safe. The alert was issued via fax with instructions to police not to put it out over their radios."

interesting someone said many tips coming in from Florida and someone said he looked like he had a recent tan. I think that's an important clue.

The Maine Investigators contacted Oregon Police themselves.

They seem to have ruled out Kyron, according to this:

Kyron Investigators Get Call From Maine Police

POSTED: 11:37 am PDT May 17, 2011
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Multnomah County investigators say they don't believe a boy found dead in Maine is Kyron Horman, based on a photo given to them by Maine state police and what detectives there told them.

Im watching it now. Why would she say is the child Kyron? :banghead:

I care about little Kyron very much. But I hope and pray Jane Velez Mitchell.Nancy Grace and hopefully many more people will do more shows solely on just this unidentified little boy with out mentioning little Kyron. They need to concentrate on just this little boy.

Thank you.I am not familiar with the navy this far up.I was not sure if there were ships there? So subs are there. To be fixed and then leave to go back to where they came from?Do the people at the ship yard go back with the sub or just stay there to fix other subs.Do other subs deploy from there and come back.I did find this. http://www.navsea.navy.mil/shipyards/portsmouth/default.aspx
But I know nothing about this particular ship yard at all.I'm just asking these questions because I feel if there was a father of this little boy.He got deployed to some where else and may not be aware of his little boy and what became of him.Right now.I do not know what happened.I am just thinking out loud I guess trying to figure it out.I do think it has a navy connection.

These subs are scheduled to go there, but for what purpose Im not at liberty to say. I worked on the base for about 3.5 years. This base has a small housing area only, and it is not by any means a large base, so its not like a whole lot of navy personnel are stationed there, not in comparison to other bases. It is pretty much on the Maine/New Hampshire border and not far at all from where the body was found. Actually no area around there is very far from any other one..most of the towns are small, comparitively speaking, that is.

No, its not likely the father was "deployed" from here. So if it was military, navy related then the father would have been there a short time, and then gone again. Like I said, the family housing area is small and so theres not a huge chance that the father was "stationed" there for any length of time. But there are some.....I just mean its not a huge base where a ship with hundreds pull in and stay for six months are a few years and then "go out to sea" and come back. Its just not that kind of base.
