What exactly do they think toxicology is going to show on an 11 year old?
Totally bizarre.

Premeditation? Remember Lieby was drugged up and he was eight or nine.

Making sure she was not drugged, but mostly buying time, don't want to give cause of death out right now...I am sure they must know how she died...?

Feeble excuse IMHO. She couldn't give us anything else, so let's play the toxicology result card. Heck, we're still waiting for the Shaknai and Winehouse tox results.

It buys them at least 3-4 weeks.

Possibly that she was drugged before she was placed in the water.

I would expect around 5:30pm - 6:30pm ET for the autopsy press conference.

I would not expect to get much information.
I wouldn't even expect to hear it's a homicide.
I definitely wouldn't expect to hear a cause of death or any details.
I wouldn't expect a suspect to be named unless an arrest is made.

I would expect a very brief press conference something like this:

"The autopsy has been completed but the report is not final at this time.
We have no cause or manner of death pending results of toxicology/further tests.
I have no further information to release at this time, thank you."

Hopefully I will be surprised and we will get more information than she normally gives out. She has in this case so far.

Well, I kept waiting to hear the presser but missed it anyway. But, couldn't drowning at least be confirmed or ruled out as a cause of death? Or if she was dead prior to going into the water? Something? Anything?

Tox screening is standard protocol in an autopsy. I wouldn't read anything into that. If they had something definitive like strangulation, they'd still send tissue and blood out for a tox screen, as a matter of protocol.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Jane Young on Krista Dittmeyer missing- almost same as Celina. Then within a few days (I think?) they made arrests.

They know the cause of death and they know the manner of death and so will we just as soon as there is an arrest. I think it will be quite soon. IMO

Actually, I'm glad they are doing a toxicology...and I hope an extended one. Just to ascertain if she had been drugged over a period of time....if possible.
