Hmmm...Celina went missing on a Monday, the 25th of July - doesn't appear from this ad that the store is open on Monday's unless they have changed their hours/days of operation.

The store may not be open on Mondays but the managers/owners might work on Mondays anyway. There's lots to do in a store like that besides ring up customers during hours the store is open.

She was last seen Monday night. She was missing as of Tuesday morning.

I wish it WAS just a matter of better care that makes some people, diagnosed with mental illness, lose control or have a break.

Almost always, from what I've seen, it's the patient that causes the decomp'g... when he chooses to be non-compliant with his meds.

Despite all the budget cuts within the Depts of Mental Illness, I've seen most patients functioning on higher levels.. mostly due to the new meds in the past 25+ yrs.

Casemanagers have had to learn to juggle larger caseloads. When I was a Nurse Casemanager, (out-patient department) for 2 yrs, my caseload (# of pts) went from 30 to 75. It was during a huge budget cut.

But as teams, which included a psychiatrist, psychologist, social workers, nurses, even tho they were cut smaller, we were still able to continue with the same treatment... it's just that the pts weren't getting as much individual attention, when they needed it.

I've worked with Dept of Mental Health in several states and nothing compares to CT. I had to deal with D-MH in California a few months ago, trying to get help for a friend in CA. I was so frustrated & so angry at how difficult it was... and for the lack of resources in many of the counties. (CA's D-MH is run by the individual counties. CT is state run.)

I know. You are right. My mom has bi-polar disorder and was involved with drugs so I know how hard the journey is. These people just do NOT think they need meds.

People with anxiety and depression normally do want help. But those with more serious disorders normally refute help. It is just so hard.

I know that I'm very lucky my mom is doing well and nothing tragic ever happened. I know first hand that she's not a bad person but a lot of things could have happened when she was out of it.

Thank you both, lol! Sorry. We had some guy show up to take away out recycling and I don't let my kids out there with them by themselves and I wasn't expecting them.

Go to edit (it should be a button on the bottom of the post.
Then when you have the post on your screen, just backspace over the names you want to erase, hit save and you should be good to go. If you need more help PM me.

Oh, and to post a link - just copy all of the text in the address bar of your web browser. The text should start with http://...etc, and the address bar should be up on top somewhere. Then you can paste that text into your post and it will put the link there for yo.

I think because the profile photo is in b&w and with dark glasses, it looks satanic at first. I also noticed there seemed to be two fb pages for NN. Need to take a look at the second one.

In response to question about who KL is in the photos, I notice that the profile photo on her fb page does appear to be the same red-haired girl that appears in some of the other photos, with her arm around CC about waist high in a swimming pool...and if you look between them, I was kind of startled to see what appears to be LN smiling out from between them. Looks like a happy time, but seeing her face there just surprised me.

RE: the blanket. Just random thoughts here, but if a mother's instinct would be to wrap the body in a blanket, would she then throw the body in the water? It seems like an odd choice to follow a last (oddly nurturing) act of wrapping it. Also, the blanket could have been to make it look more difficult in the dark to carry it or (I hate going here) to keep the body "together" when thrown in the water.

Or to disguise the body in case they encountered someone. Or to prevent having to touch her directly. jmo

elmomom shouldn't the text of whatever I am reading be in the bar? Do I need to have two windows open to do that? Isn't this terrible?

You need to copy the text in the window you want to link to. You can have 2 windows open, and switch to paste it into the post you are making.
Or, you can have the link open, copy the address, then go to WS, open up a post and paste it - it will remember it long enough.

or... if you want to be even more daring, you could use a web browser like mine that lets you have many different tabs open in the same window - and you can switch from one to the other with ease.

whichever way you do it, you'll be fine, and if it doesn't come out right, we can help you edit it!

Personally, wrapping a body in a blanket seems "crazy" to me.

It is not a body bag or plastic... a blanket is oddly a nurturing object, which goes against the act of murdering someone.

It definetly seems disturbing that someone would murder a little girl yet wrap her in a blanket.

This is my first posting here and I hope I don't break any rules....noticed on the page shown above, there's a display ad to the left of the article which states the store opens at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday. No idea if that has any significance.

:welcome:

Good first post. That is really interesting that it opens at 9:30. I wondered about her leaving so early for her job that morning. As far as I know, the shop is within minutes on foot. why would she have to leave so early for a shop that opened at 9;30? I don't think there is a tremendous amount of prep work that needs to be done in a small consignment shop before it can be opened in the mornings.
ETA: WRONG. I just read another post saying it was across town and rather far away.

I'm not seeing the NN thats B&W, it's probably so easy to find but i i cant!

That is not 100% true. My mom had drug induced psychotic episodes and she could be very violent.
Also, my friend just had a drug induced psychotic episode and he put fire in his wardrobe and left his house leaving his grandmother inside. He absolutely loves his grandmother. He went to rehab and is doing well now though.

Psycotic people become a danger for themselves and others for sure.

I don't have any experience with drug induced episodes. Are they the same,, i will ask our doc's...could be...i know in our situation, the feelings are always there and the meds just help ease them and make life a little more bearable..and i know that there are violent mentally ill people, i'm just saying the majority really are not...there are some really bad drugs out there these day's..i'm sorry you have had to experience the results of that...i have a few friends whose kids have tried some and whew....horrible...delusional, you name it...scary...

I saw LN in there too!

I must be looking at the wrong NN Facebook page -- is it able to be searched? I'm only coming up with a page that is definitely not the right one.

From the shop's FB, appears it is open on Mondays now:

Due to the death of Louisia's daughter,Celina Cass, Lads and Ladybugs will be closed until Monday, August 8th.

Mom had to be at work that Monday morning.
