Barth, regarding her taped conversations with Kat McDonough... the prosecutors asked you, how did she appear, and you said scared and deer in the headlights, like she was sad and overwhelmed...Gerkin:I believe in the third or fourth one there was some comment about her losing a friend... I believe that was the only time I remember that she expressed what I would consider remorse.

Barth says that Kat talked about her art in those conversations, that she didn't seem deer in the headlights. Gerkin says she believes that when people are involved in something catastrophic, its a lot easier to be normal talking about day to day things, other things.

I've been following this trial but I still don't understand it. So, I popped over here to WS to see what you guys were thinking.

So, he blacks out, and when he comes to, Lizzi has plastic bags (plural?) tied over her head and doesn't know what happened?

He then does, what....call a friend and does not remove the plastic until she gets there?
