Yeah, I was hoping he'd pull a Juan and tell her to nevermind where it was going, to just answer the question. This guy is a little too conciliatory.

Maybe they are hoping she will hang herself in her testimony by letting her go on and on but I think she is enjoying this. I miss Juan. He wouldn't tolerate the bs.

She really didn't know what a ligature was yet answered the question in the negative?

Atty Barth.... you testified Friday morning that you’d gone into logic mode, but this morning you said you were myopic, that your brain went into overload… not to nickel and dime you… but trying to get into your frame of mind.

Now describing what Gerkin said about how her body looked

Atty Barth: You had clearly described to us that her face was starkly purple. You are telling us that there was not good lighting in the room but from the neck up her face was stark purple. And that there was a line or indent. But when asked by investigators if you saw any marks on the wrists or neck, you said no.

This is really not looking good for the prosecutors to have her as the "reliable" source to convince the jurors she was strangled. Since she can't remember her own age, much less ligature marks.

Barth about transcript: Did you see anything… a ligature or anything like that … your answer is pretty clear. You said No. Then Barth says... if you aren't sure, instead of guessing, an you tell me you aren’t sure? She says yes, and he says… "but that’s now what you did when you were talking to prosecutors".

Oh yeah, is Paul going to testify?

I don't believe RG would have answered 'no' to a question when she is saying she didn't know what the word 'ligature' meant.

She didn't know if there was a towel on the floor because it wasn't moving! Leave her alone. :p

I can't imagine why they thought she would be a reliable witness. I hope Paul makes more sense.

Barth brings up... that one of those impressions she shared in court... that Seth was remorseful, like he broke something he wasn’t supposed to… investigators asked her three times… never used once to investigators soon after did she use any descriptions like that ... Barth asking if she is shading her testimony because she's angry that Seth tried to shift blame to her... she said NO.

After I heard some testimony from RG and understood her and a friend named Paul were together at the same time I thought Good God and gravy if this is the State's lead in, strong witness to be supported by lesser, more iffy testimony from this Paul? I can only wonder what shape this Paul is in.

Barth says none of the police transcripts show her describing him as calm.... she says that's just the way he is, he's always calm.

Barth and Gerkin continue to go back and forth about her 'impression', her memory, versus what she told investigators continues... Barth making the point that Gerkin heard Kat speaking just before they left... about 'She had a long walk from A Lot'... referring to Lizzi and the parking lot at UNH where students put their cars.

Considering what a treat Roberta has been, I can't wait to hear from Paul *Humungo eye roll*

RG 'Seth was an honorable person, a person who does the right thing'.

So much for RG's impression.
