Barth seems to be trying, thru the transcripts, to show that the investigator lead Gerkin to connecting anger... to Seth not having multiple sexual partners. She had been talking about Seth's seeming to have ADD... Detective then asks 'an angry tangent?' She says no... then he says to you equate it to anger at not having multiple sexual partners? She says 'um' in the transcript.. then he says 'did he ever allude to this?' ...

Good Morning everyone!

I was hoping RG's genius would be needed on some other galaxy to quell a major war but no she is still able to find her way to the stand :p

Why don't these lawyers rein her in? It's not anger it's more like........ and then several minutes later it is more like extreme frustration. Please court rein the theatrics in! Why are they playing into her game?

all I keep thinking is various Shakespeare quotes--all the worlds a stage...came up with others but....

Its weird because I was really expecting to like her because I thought she would make some really meaningful testimony about seeing Lizzie and about the inner workings of Seth and I thought she would be just on fire about the fact that Seth basically wanted to frame her. But instead she is just whacky, hard to follow and just plain bizarre. Perhaps even a detriment to the Prosecution.

:floorlaugh: I think she is enjoying the heck out of this moment in the limelight or whatever she thinks she is doing up there on the stand.

All I could think of was the closing in the movie 'Sunset Boulevard'. IMO RG has the same vacant look in her eyes.
 
Now talking about Kat being off at a summer camp... Roberta had described a level of conflict over the lack of communication between Seth and Kat ... they had set up times, because she was busy and he was busy working... and he was frustrated that it wasn't going as planned... Barth says Gerkin had described it as 'just somebody who was frustrated that he had made an agreement and wasn't fulfilling it.' And that Gerkin had said 'hey she's 18 ... this is what they do'. (That perhaps in comparison to her description on Friday that he would 'explode')

Defense is revisiting a trip Gerkin took with Seth ... to a place called Misty Meadows... that sells herbs, and that she went in and bought herbs and left... that it is NOT a place filled with women wearing point hats and stirring cauldrons.
