Wow, fruity - when you put it that way, it's easy to see what Saatchi is all about isn't it?

It's very scary behaviour, something I am more keenly aware of in light of some recent domestic violence trials here in Aus. where the man was very controlling and it ended in murder. I agree, she needs to take measures to protect herself.
 
British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson has told a court that she's taken cocaine in the past but says the idea that she is a "drug addict or habitual user of cocaine is absolutely ridiculous".

The TV cook says she took cocaine with her late husband John Diamond when he found out he had terminal cancer, and in July 2010 when she was being "subjected to intimate terrorism by (Charles) Saatchi".

Lawson also told the court what sparked the dispute that led to the infamous choking photo outside a London restaurant.
"What actually happened was that somebody walked by with a very cute baby in a stroller and I said 'I am so looking forward to having grandchildren', and he grabbed me by the throat and said 'I am the only person you should be concerned with. I am the only person who should be giving you pleasure'," she said.

LONDON (AP) — Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson says she is not proud of her past drug use but came clean to avoid being “bullied by lies” from her ex-husband.

Lawson told a London court on Thursday that “I would rather be honest and ashamed” than let false allegations stand.

“I wasn’t going to be bullied with lies,” she said. “I’m not proud of the fact I have taken drugs but that does not make me a drug addict or a habitual drug user.” ...

Lawson, 53, filed for divorce after photos emerged of Saatchi, 70, holding her in an infamous "neck-throttle".

Now Nigella's former assistant has turned guardian angel and broken her silence to speak publicly about life inside the household of Lawson and millionaire art dealer Charles Saatchi.

Australian Renee Guazzo has told how, rather than going on drug-fuelled benders, Lawson would make lunch for the "sisterhood" who would sit around the kitchen and bake cupcakes. The ex-aide, who now lives in Townsville, said she "never saw any drugs''.

"It breaks my heart to see her life and reputation being torn apart,'' she said. "I feel like I owe it to Nigella to let everyone know what a beautiful person she is."

Mrs Guazzo sent Lawson an email message of support.

"I want Nigella and Team Cupcake to know I'm thinking of you all and wishing Nigella strength," she wrote. "I will never forget how wonderfully she treated me."

Elisabetta and Francesca Grillo, the two former aides to Charles Saatchi and Nigella Lawson, have been found not guilty of fraud. Elisabetto had collapsed three times in the 24 hrs leading up to the verdict and was hospitalized. The sisters were allowed to hear the verdict in a private room because of this, with medical help on hand.

Completely expected them to be acquitted after reading all the testimony.

It would seem the spending was approved if no one was saying anything about it all along. Good grief, everyone should know how much is going where. Even if you have an accountant handling the bills. These are 2 very wealthy people. If anyone thinks they were not aware of the spending, that is just wrong. Wealthy people watch their money, especially the likes of CS.

Such a shame that all of them Nigella, CS, and the girls, have lost respect in their community simply because of a bitter divorce. Guess CS was not going down alone.
 
This is all about Saatchi's massive ego. My sympathies are with Nigella. I am using her recipe for coca cola ham this year. <modsnip>yeah Nigella

Nigella Lawson banned from flying to US after admitting drug use

In the latest embarrassing situation for British celebrity chef Nigella Lawson following a trial in which she revealed past drug use, she was banned from boarding a flight to the United States at a London airport on Sunday.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed to NBC News that Lawson was stopped from boarding a flight to Los Angeles at London's Heathrow Airport. Her ban is linked to her admission of past cocaine and marijuana use during a trial last year involving her two former assistants, who were acquitted of charges that they defrauded Lawson and her ex-husband, Charles Saatchi. Lawson's spokesman had no comment to NBC News about the latest situation...

Yet they have no issues with Justin Bieber. Somehow I don't think Nigella is a huge threat to anyone.
