Also, a killer in jail for life imprisonment dumped 2 young women he murdered not far from the cemetary at different times in the 80's. I have forgotten if he was ruled out???

Could someone name the names that appear on the Princess Doe exclusion list? it is simply to know who has been discarded.

I noticed that too but I was under the assumption that PD had never given birth whereas CLL has a daughter/
Via Wikipedia:
Forensic anthropologists determined that the victim was not pregnant and had never given birth, and was most likely between the ages of 14 and 18 years old at the time of death.

If they were going off of pelvic bone indicators back in the day, those are recognized now as notoriously unreliable. :)

I know the working info is that she never gave birth but that has been wrong on other cases so I set that aside.
I'm no doctor but I'm wondering if that examination of the pelvis holds up if a baby was premature, plus, I'd assume it is not accurate for a C section delivery. In her case they likely would have seen the scars of a C section though.

I just read through this entire thread and did not see any mention of a genetic genealogy effort. Is there, or is there not, one of these underway? And if not, why not? It seems like this may be the only way this case can be solved.

From page 41 of this thread, post 816

Pfeiffer, upon taking office last year, made it a priority to use DNA technology to solve the cold-case homicide of the “Tiger Lady” as well as that of “Princess Doe,” who was found beaten to death on July 15, 1982, in Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Blairstown. “Princess Doe” remains unidentified.

‘Tiger Lady,’ found slain in 1991, now identified as missing Pa. teen, prosecutor says

From the article: Pfeiffer said he’ll also be joined at Friday’s news conference, set for 11 a.m. at the Goodwill Fire Co., by the State Police Office of Forensic Sciences, Center for Human Identification, BODE Technologies and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

I found this article about Princess Doe that appears to have a picture of the crime scene I have never seen before. Is this a real photo?
I don’t think it is, based on the mannequin with PD’s clothes, it seems that it’s the mannequin on the ground.

Perhaps to click someone’s memory from that day.
