This one is pretty local for me and apparently the kids of some of my fb friends know this boy from soccer. His family is pretty much frantic at this point, although I do not personally have any inside knowledge of the situation. There is a fb page set up now.

I love the notion of a bright, ambitious young actor/singer blowing off college to head to the Great White Way on a lark, without notice, but I fear I've seen too many movies. Assuming he went to NY, why wouldn't he at least let his family know? Wondering if he knew anyone in NY. It is not clear to me from the coverage I've read, but did he have his phone with him? Any info on "pings", etc.?

Gee, I really don't see this kid running away to New York City without substantial funding. Has he withdrawn a large amount of cash? I don't think his cards are being used. His family is searching areas as if something bad has befallen him. Only way I could see this scenario is if someone is sheltering him. But why not just call home? I think something has happened to this young man.[emoji20]

Looks like he might be an aspiring actor. Maybe they thought he went to NY for an audition. Regardless, something must have happened to him. It's been a whole week with no contact.

He was also considering the Conservatory for school.

He has a cell phone but no activity has been detected so far on his social media.

Pratico was dropped off by family and was last seen on campus around 3 p.m. the last time he was last spotted on campus surveillance cameras.

He stands 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and a blue backpack.

These should probably be merged.

Oh man. Where is he? An entire week and nothing?

Not much info, either.

Snip

Pratico was picking up his ID and signing up for some classes at the Welcome Center inside the student center, according to Hamilton Police Sgt. Brian Schroder. Pratico graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville this past spring.
Schroder said the people who interacted with Pratico did not detect any signs of worry or concern.
Pratico was dropped off on the West Windsor campus by a family member and was going to be picked up a pre-arranged time, authorities have said. A family member called police last Wednesday night when he did not return home on his own.
Police said he may have headed for Times Square or the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts at 39 W 19th Street in Manhattan.
Police also asked especially anyone who rode public transportation in the area of the school or was on campus to take another look at Pratico’s picture.
“Nick is a really good kid,” his older sister told New Jersey 101.5. Her family asked that her name not be published to protect her privacy.

I'm surprised by the lack of information. Not much background information at all.
