I wish we knew more. I find it odd that mom went all night without filing a missing persons report.....

Yeah, I'm a bit curious about the time span between last contact, expected return time and filing the missing report. Why would you wait till morning to involve LE if your child didn't return home when she was expected and the person in charge of her wasn't responding to your attempts to contact her? For all the mom knew there could have been a car accident and finding them quickly could have made all the difference between injured and dead. We seem to be missing a large chunk of info here or we are victims of some questionable reporting (likely both).

That one linked article says that Stokes was her step-mother so I don't think it would be that odd.

I hope that Stokes isn't trying to get back at the mother for some reason.
 
So we have:

4:50 - Jade is picked up at her sister's by BS

9:00 - Jade is due home

9:15 - Mom starts calling BS

9:00 - 10:00 - BS attacks a coworker at a casino and is arrested.

? (next day) - Jade is reported missing

I wonder where the sister's home and the casino are located. Exactly where were Jade & BS planning to shop that evening? Are there videos of them at any point that evening? And what exactly is BS's connection to Jade (I've read stepmom & friend of father)? I hope this is a custody dispute and Jade is safely hidden away but the attack by BS later that evening makes me think that is unlikely.
 
Isn't Stokes the dad's girlfriend, or ex-girlfriend? I wonder where the dad is. Perhaps the reason for mom's delay in contacting LE is because the dad told her something that put her temporarily at ease. But then when Jade still hadn't shown up by the following morning the mom went to the police. It is puzzling.

One article said Dad was out of the area for business purposes but was currently traveling back to LV to help search for his daughter.

ETA: I was mistaken. Dad lives out of state.

Stokes is friends with the young girl's father. He lives out of state but is traveling to Las Vegas to help find his daughter.

In the video above, the reporter said the dad has arrived in LV to help.

Police said the attack was reported at 9:47pm. So maybe a half hour after Jade's mom started calling Brenda.

I'd like to know how long BS was at the casino before the attack and how long it would have taken her to get there from the last place Jade was seen. If BS entered the casino through a public entrance there would have to be footage of her arrival. Even if she had access to a private entrance as an employee there should be video of her as soon as she stepped onto the floor. Most casinos are heavily monitored and I can't imagine that a LV casino would be an exception.

It would seem that BS had a bit less than a 5 hour window to disappear Jade. Video of them shopping or BS at the casino could narrow that window considerably.
 
I hope this precious little girl is found safe. The bad things happening to children these days are so depressing. This little girl should have been at home today enjoying her Christmas gifts and a nice family dinner. One article said the girl was picked up from her sister's house and another said from her mother's house. Do the sister and mother live in different places? I just hope the girl is alive and well somewhere and that she will be returned home (or to a safe place) very soon.
 
Give her a lawyer, then, if she claims that would make her willing to talk.

If the child's father does not know where she is, it does not sound at all promising for Jade.

Give her a whole freaking fleet of lawyers if that will get her to talk (we all know the lawyer will advise her to shut the hell up though). I really hope this is a custodial interference situation but it seems odd that BS would get involved in that situation and then go commit a crime that will likely see her locked away for years thus making any points she earned by helping her fiancé rather pointless.
 
I posted on the Godmother's blog asking for more info. The comment had been moderated but it is now public so I know she saw it. Hopefully she will answer me there or decide to come and join us. WS is the first link if you google "Jade Morris missing".
 
Morris was last seen on December 21st at 1 p.m. in the area of Martin Luther King and Alta Drive heading to the Las Vegas Outlet Center in the Downtown area.

What happened to the report of 4:50 being the time she was picked up by BS? The request directed at area hospitals is not something I recall seeing before in any other similar case. I wonder if they have reason to believe Jade was in need of medical care.
 
I can't find any new info on Jade today. Where is this darling little girl???
