VICTIM FRIENDLY

Websleuths is a victim friendly forum. Attacking or bashing a victim is not allowed. Discussing known victim behavior, good or bad is fine, but do so in a civil and constructive way, and only when such behavior is known to be relevant to the case.

The "victim friendly" rule extends to family members of victims and suspects. Sleuthing family members, friends, or others who have not been officially designated by law enforcement or in mainstream media as a Person of Interest or suspect is not allowed (i.e. Sleuthing out this type of information, and publicly posting their personal information, including names, addresses, and background data -- even if it is public is not allowed and such posts will be removed, along with any posts that encourage such sleuthing).

This does not mean, however, that statements made by family members and other third parties cannot come into discussion as the facts of the case are reported in the media.
Members may reasonably discuss what is said in MSM by them or about them, but do not make random accusations, insinuations, suggest their involvement, trash, bash or attack them, or speculate negatively about them.

Every member is expected to familiarize themselves with our rules that everyone agrees to upon registering with this forum.

ADMIN NOTE

Please do not interject speculation that is not based in fact and instead references stereotypical supposition. That is a TOS violation and will/has resulted in temporary Thread Bans.

Replying to such posts is ALSO a TOS violation because it continues a conversation that should not have been posted in the first place. That has also resulted in temporary Thread Bans.

Please REPORT such posts instead AND THEN MOVE ON.
Engaging in a bickering match will get both sides an escort out of the discussion.

THANK YOU for keeping a level head on this thread.

ADMIN REMINDERS

Please remember:
- when speculating about this case, IT MUST BE BASED IN KNOWN/PUBLISHED FACTS. Posts that neglect to do that may be removed.
- speculation MUST INCLUDE clear indication that it is your opinion. Posts that neglect to do that may be removed.
- discussion about psychic speculation is not allowed. Posts that do that will be removed.
- if you reply to posts that violate ANY of the Terms of Service, your post may be removed also.

Please follow the TOS that we all agreed to when we joined.

Thank you for posting respectfully and responsibly.

ADMIN REMINDER:

The ONLY social media that may be linked and discussed is that from the victim, the suspect, LE and MSM.

ANYONE ELSE is off limits until a time that LE names another suspect or POI.

Posts are being removed that violate this rule. Also posts that REPLY to or link back to violating posts are also being removed.

NerdyAddict is NOT an approved source at Websleuths.

If you don't know for sure that a source is approved, please just ask before posting. That way our volunteer Mods don't have to review pages and pages of posts to remove the discussion.

Excerpt from The Rules: Etiquette & Information

If you aren't sure a source is approved, please private message a Mod or Admin before posting to ask. Don't just post "Mods please delete if not allowed". We may not see your post for weeks, meanwhile it has introduced non-approved information into the discussion, requiring massive cleanups or thread closures.

Also, stop with the negative opinions of our approved podcast hosts. Not only is it off topic, but some of them are members here and it is in really poor taste to be discussing them in such a manner.

Naomi Irion's dad is a US Diplomat. She grew up in Russia, Germany, and South Africa living on heavily guarded compounds. Her mom told me Naomi desperately wanted a normal life - so at 18 she moved in with her brother in Nevada to get a job and start college. Now she is missing.

Side nugget: Naomi's family is pretty amazing. Her parents adopted three Ukrainian boys with special needs. It made their emergency trip from South Africa to Nevada very challenging.

I'm worried there's only a 10.000 dollar reward for information.

When compared to Lina Khil or the Delphi Murders there's like 20 times more.
Especially since this is most likely a life or death situation.
Possibly because they have the suspect in custody already in this case?

He made sure to make it seem as though he came from the homeless camp, imo. I believe he immediately drove her to his truck and dumped her car, that would explain the one ping that led LE to her car. I also believe he went back to her car at a later point in time that afternoon to make sure he hadn't left any evidence behind.
The question is where did he take her?

It would be a walk of about 6 miles from where the FBI were reported to be searching on Hill Ranch Road in Wadsworth (where the ping was apparently located) to where her car was found next to the Shewin-Williams plant.

I don't see him doing this in the early daylight to daylight hours of the Saturday when she was abducted. Too much chance of being noticed.

I believe LE will have CCTV footage of when her vehicle was dumped there that will give them a much tighter timeline.

A suspect that's apparently not talking.
Every second matters if they want to find her alive in stead of dead.
Just imagine her being found hours after she died.

The tip they need may have to come from criminals snitching on each other.
Pointing out a place where TD could have taken her, known by someone else because they were involved in shady things with TD themselves.
Someone like that may think 10.000 is not enough to get in trouble themselves.
Or putting their own family at risk.
Just raise it to 100.000 dollars. Who cares about the money if it will mean finding her alive. Or ever finding her at all.

Really don’t know if the FBI needs to add anything to the reward…

they would prob be able to dump his truck's tech if thats the case. unless he turned it off like millete (if possible) that is

I can't read that in Europe.

What if someone is waiting for the reward to be raised en meanwhile she dies.
10.000 dollar for the life of a precious 18 year woman is a disgrace.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the location of 18-year-old Naomi Irion, the agency announced Monday.

Irion was last seen around 5 a.m. on March 12 walking through a Walmart parking lot in Fernley. Fernley is in Lyon County, about 400 miles northwest of Las Vegas and 35 miles east of Reno.

Officials with the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office took Troy Driver, 41, of Fallon, into custody last week on a kidnapping charge.

Deputies said they impounded a pickup truck possibly involved in Irion’s kidnapping. Irion has not been located.
