Wow. I didn't look at all of the links in that detailed post but given that TD lived on the same street as them, HMMMM.

A bit of digging by some, on sites that cannot be linked here, indicates that the home in Fallon was listed as a rental, and TD likely has only lived there since sometime in August of 2021, so he very well may have been living at that Elko address at that time. JMO

I wondered if his Fallon home was a rental...

Pic, courtesy of poster @justme11 . Although there was debate about the colors not appearing to be the same initially, we now know these pics are of the same truck, but do they have the same wheels? They look like they could be different to me, but it may be distortion caused by looking through the fence. I think he was deliberately trying to get new tires on, so any tread mark castings wouldn't match , but might he also have put different wheels on, in an effort to hopefully disguise it? JMO

Many folks who live in the high desert have two sets of tires, usually each on their own set of rims (though the rims may all match).

This is so studded tires can be used in winter (for icy roads moreso than for snow).

In California we are required to have the studded tires off by May 1 -- I don't know if NV has similar rule. It's been a very dry winter so many folks might swap back early to save wear on the studs.

If TD did have winter/studded tires on during this crime, he could have swapped back to his summer tires and then the winter tires could have been discarded, sold, or even stashed in a storage unit or at a friend's house or somewhere LE has not yet found.

If he had two sets of tires in this fashion, swapping them would have not have necessitated a purchase of new tires at this time. Even if he didn't swap them himself but had Les Schwab or another tire shop swap for him, it's the time of year for everyone to swap winter tires for summer tires, so it wouldn't have drawn any attention.

Sounds like he had a good reason to swap out the tires. If he kept the rims, then he is worried about tire-tread? Did I read correctly that he replaced 3 tires?

I can't think of any reason for him to want to change tire tread - unless he always switches Winter tires in March.

Most folks with two sets of tires would switch from winter to summer near the deadline but since the winter has been so dry folks might switch early -- studded tires are pricy and don't last as many miles as regular tires (the metal studs wear down) so it makes sense to switch early if you know you won't need them.

Also taking tires off rims requires special equipment I believe, plus balancing. Much easier to keep tires on their own rims and just remove it like you would remove a flat tire and put on a spare. I don't know anyone who moves two sets of tires back and forth on one set of rims.

I only mention all this because it provides a possible way he could remove evidence (tire tread pattern, soil or rocks on tires etc) from his truck without having to have recently purchased new tires, which could be tracked.

Does anyone believe this is a one shot thing or is he a serial rapist/killer…?

He has that same look in his eyes that Ted Bundy had.

moo.

MOO... I don't think this was his first. As mentioned by someone previously, his previous victims may have been runaways and prostitutes. Women off the radar, who wouldn't be missed right away.

I've heard serial killers talking about their crimes being "an itch that has to be scratched". I was wondering if the urge in him was so strong, that he was willing to take a lot of risks and abduct Naomi with cameras present and potential witnesses in parked cars.

Maybe he was so confident, because he'd gotten away with it before, that he got cocky.

I believe his itch includes the stalking and planning. I think he stalks his victims for weeks while he plans. I think he enjoys the risk it all involves.

One or the other does the trick, he did both (overkill) for a reason.

Morgan Harrington's mother always said that there would be another victim before he was caught. That was Hannah Graham. Is Naomi the victim that exposed a serial murderer?

It was Hannah Graham's case that connected me with websleuths, in 2013 she was one of Jesse Matthew's Jr's victims.
Morgan Harrington's mother started a campaign ''Help save the next girl'', after her daughter was murdered in 2009. Jesse Matthew Jr. murdered her.

Morgan Harrington's mother's campaign is linked here. Help Save The Next Girl | Home

Regarding Naomi's case, MOO- I do not believe this is TD's first murder since he was released from prison, he was too brazen, perhaps he slipped up this time, made too many ''errors''? Thankfully errors were made or someone's tip hit the spot, I'm thankful Naomi was ever found given where she had been buried, it's so sad to think of how horrifying her last moments on earth must have been for her. Poor Casey, having to see the actual CCTV, cannot even imagine how he felt. Horrendous, difficult to bear thinking about.

MOO – I think he has done this before and do not believe he had never done this before NI's murder, too calculated, and I think along the same lines as @otto does, that Naomi may have exposed a serial killer.

All MOO of course, but let's keep looking into this, his past addresses, other similar cases, M.O, etc. I see there have been some amazing posts trying to connect dots in the past few days, let's hope other's get closure and answers.

Rest in peace, sweet Naomi. Thoughts and prayers to Naomi's loved ones.

Yes you are also describing Bundy: so full of himself.

Troy Driver brazeningly hunted Naomi that morning. I am not sure if it was an itch that couldn't be scratched or his false confidence. Or both. The man knew there were cameras everywhere. (moo)

I am glad I am not they only one who thinks this isnt his first.
