Not that we know of. More than twenty years ago he was involved in a murder where he hid the body, and today he's involved in a murder where he hid the body. It is possible that he did not do anything like this at any time between the two murders, but I think it's unlikely.

I agree, and I really do hope that LE reviews any missing women open cases from Lyon and neighboring counties within the past ten years to see if there is any possible connection to TD that can be uncovered. JMO

can someone direct me to where I might find the map of the location of her remains?

The exact location of Naomi's remains has not been divulged, but based on all available information, it seems that she was taken from Fernley, most likely up I-80 to just past Lovelock Prison, then turned onto Coal Canyon Rd (396) and probably driven some 25 miles down that road into a remote area of desert just back inside Churchill County, which is about the area that Coal Canyon Rd meets Estill Ranch Rd. The drive would have likely been about an hour and a half to two hours. JMO

How likely is it that he travelled to that remote location in her car? Would that be consistent with speculation that he returned to his truck in the afternoon? What if he didn't have enough gas in her car or it broke down in the middle of nowhere?

People have been defending Naomi’s car, saying that it may have been in very good condition, and unlikely to break down. But the point is—he couldn’t know that.

According to your link, the victim, Shannon Nye, was found at Coal Mine Canyon, which while it sounds similar, is actually about 220 miles farther northeast from the place Naomi's remains were reportedly found near Coal Canyon Rd. But, Coal Mine Canyon is only maybe 45 minutes from Elko, where TD had previously lived and had presumably done work with Ledcor. It cannot be verified here, but I believe TD has lived at his Fallon address that his truck was towed from, for less than a year. JMO

Thanks. I still think that there are a lot of missing women in Nevada who may have been off the radar. And I truly believe that Naomi was not TD's first victim.

I hope LEO is looking at TD's past, where he lived, worked, what is on his computer. We haven't seen a search warrant for his home, but I am pretty sure it was searched...

RENO, Nev. — Two families are calling for a change in how missing persons cases in Nevada are handled. They said they felt powerless when they called authorities for help and believe quicker action could've saved their loved ones' lives.

"I believe that if that missing person's case had been handled the way it was supposed to be handled from the start, then maybe we would have had the chance to bring Naomi home," said Casey Valley, brother of Naomi Irion, whose body was found after she was reported missing for more than two weeks.

I think Casey Valley is an amazing brother, who did absolutely everything that he could do to find his sister and get her home safely, and it truly does seem like there needs to be a review of handling missing persons reports, to see if there are changes that might be made to get a faster response by LE. I would imagine that he may be carrying some misplaced guilt that he was not able to protect her after she came to live with him, but in Naomi's particular case, I think, statistically, the likelihood that any quicker action by LE would have saved her life is very low. She disappeared at 5:25 Saturday morning, and Casey, himself, did not even realize she was missing until sometime Sunday evening. By that time, it is highly likely that she was already dead. #trusthefamily

I do believe that quicker action by LE very possibly could have resulted in the Bakers lost RV and car being found quicker, thereby saving the life of Mr.Baker, who passed away the day before they were spotted by air patrol and rescuers could reach them. It took relatives several days before Nevada officials would even issue a Silver Alert, because the Bakers were not Nevada residents, and the search finally began 4 days after being notified of the couple's disappearance, IIRC. Clearly, some changes or exceptions need to be made in the requirements for posting Silver Alerts, at a minimum. #trustthefamily JMO

Update: Officials Identify Woman’s Body Found in Nevada Coal Mine Canyon

This is interesting. The victim here is "Shannon Nye". Seems to be close to where Naomi was found.

I have been looking at other missing women in the area and cold case homicides.

NV - NV - Trina McCarthy aka Trina Voigt, 47, Carson City, 2 Nov 2021

Another one, here on WS.
It would be helpful to know the cause of death. Back when Rodriguez was murdered, the prosecution hinted that they felt Driver had been the killer. Years later, he shot Naomi. I believe Driver did shoot Rodriguez and they concocted a story to make it seem the girlfriend had shot him in some kind of twisted self defense. If these other people were killed by being shot, it would show a strong connection to Driver when you add the place where the victims were found.

There was a memorial service held in Fernley this evening. The family is planning to bury Naomi next to her brother on Tuesday. The following link is for the scholarship program that Naomi’s family has set up in her name.

Next to her brother? Did she have a brother who also died young?
