My guess is no.
lack familiarity with the term "obstruction of justice". I know LV is like another world, but I don't think even there you can just lie to and mislead LE during an investigation. I haven't followed this story closely but lying to LE about the suspect in a family member's murder does not seem like normal "victim" behavior. None of the stories so far make any sense. That means I don't believe any of them. The truth usually makes sense. Nothing so far does.
Why try and move the car when the suspect already knows where you live? The house apparently has a garage-put it in there, go in house, lock door, call 911. None of this dropping off daughter, picking up son & gun, driving around, dropping off son, mom stays in car to park it somewhere-why did you get son w/gun if you were going to send him back in the house and stay in car alone with car of gun wielding attackers coming after you? Why did no one ever call police until someone was dead? This whole story is beyond Elmore Leonard...
It's not just you! Any normal person who'd had a loved one killed and knew where the killer was, would be breaking a leg to tell LE. This is the fishiest case I have seen in a long, long time. And I am still not convinced that EN and whatever posse he was with were the instigators.
I hope it is not against the rules to say this (if so please let me know and I will delete) but EN's mom seems to have a pretty solid job with the high-end Wynn casino -- a specialized, professional job in the finance department. Given her experience level and job history a six-figure salary would not be surprising at all. So why would TM be needing to give EN money? (I realize not all highly paid parents dole out lots of dollars willy-nilly to their kids, but my point is, his mom seems very capable of taking care of his basic needs. If she chose not to provide spending money, why would anyone outside the family take it upon herself to circumvent that and provide money to a rather wayward kid? That would seem to be very meddling and frankly, immature.
Very strange.
Maybe she was buying something from him. We all know (from his Instagram page) what he was selling.
"The family announced Monday that they're offering a 1965 Chevrolet El Camino as a reward for anyone with information leading to a conviction of Meyers' killer.''

let's see how this goes

LE will work to get to the bottom of this mess. I'm sure they didn't appreciate the family deliberately omitting facts.
I'll bet the sketch artist has a story about them, too. They were wasting the artists time, all the while they knew exactly who at least one of the suspects were.
What is the real story?? What is the root motivation? Why was it far preferable to grab a gun and hop in the car rather than stay home, lock the door and call 911?
This may not help totally, but part way through this tv broadcast tape they show kind of a birds eye view of the area with some of the landmarks noted.

Las Vegas police Lt. Ray Steiber said Tammy Meyers was behind the wheel and was returning home from teaching her 15-year-old daughter how to drive when a car sped up behind them, and that her daughter reached over and honked the horn.

Steiber said the daughter told police a car sped up to them from behind and then pulled alongside. The daughter reached over from the passenger seat and honked the car horn at the car as it passed.

If my husband reached across/over and blew the horn while I was driving I know what I would have done. And it wouldn't have been towards the other driver. jmo idk
Anyone think it's possible it was the daughter that was driving at the time and they are protecting her?

Right now I am not sure anything in horn honking story actually happened. That was a story of random road rage. But now we find out family new the guy. So, did any of this happened?
