I understand they don't want to cause mass panic that's the last thing the city needs right now. Can you imagine a mass of people trying to frantically leave the city.

My husband has been trying to convince me that we should get an apartment there, and I hate to concede to fear, but this is exactly why I have fought him so hard on it. If anything happens there and people do need to leave, it's not like it is an easy thing to accomplish. The idea of being stuck in traffic jams and chaos while something like this is happening is so scary. I feel so much for the brave New Yorkers.

For some reason I dont think people would behave that way --how do you know where you are going is "safer"!

I know I don't know how people would react. I still can't believe people trying to get their hand luggage and being on snap chat after that recent plane emergency landing when the plane was on fire.

You know what it sounds like - first explsion - then some as##ole thinks it would be funny to put place a pressure cooker on the sidewalk.

I would think someone who really made a pressure cooker bomb, would try to hide it a bit. Just dropping a pressure cooker when half of ny police dept is a block away -- just sounds like prank
