Nothing new to report on what is happening.

While searching for an update I found this, but it only adds a bit more info. re the wounds.

An autopsy showed Saleh died from five stab wounds to the neck and torso, according to the criminal complaint.

Fahim Saleh murder: Prime accused pleads not guilty

I wish we knew what's causing this inordinate delay.

How bizarre. What is going on with this case? Is it normal to take this long, 3 years and still no idea of when a trial might take place??

Could it be haspil is not mentally fit for trial at the moment? I just can’t understand it.
I feel for fahims family, they have been waiting for justice for 3 years and are still in limbo.

i have not cried so hard reading a story in a long, long time as i have reading fahim's sister's words in that blogpost regarding her feelings about her brother, his value, his talents, his kindness, his generosity, his beautiful smile, his Googled-recipe-every-year-but-always-good-garlic-mashed-potatoes at Thanksgiving.... my eyes physically hurt.

this should not have happened. i dont give a *advertiser censored* what childhood his "assistant" (i dont call a thief an assistant) had... fahim grew up with next to nothing and used his father's pain and anxiety in committing to moving his family to Saudi Arabia and then to the US, all the way from Bangladesh... for a better life. his parents studied and studied, and worked and worked, for their children's sake. just to have a weak-minded, evil, GREEDY, disgusting thief rob them of their beautiful boy.

im disgusted right now. im so sick of seeing what humans do to eachother.
fahim appeared to be the brightest, lightest, and the best of all of us. i lost my bestfriend last year who had a smile as wide as fahim's. maybe this is why this hurts so bad. or because i relate entirely to the father screaming no, no, no! into the casket lowering.

i need to go lay down for awhile. and maybe take a xanax. that was a f*cking excruciating read-through. i hardly ever cry about much besides missing my best friend, and missing my dad, who are both deceased. but wow. this true act of brutality.
 
I'll be interested to learn what the miscellaneous hearing on May 4 is all about. This case seemed so straight forward when it happened but is dragging on endlessly. The family deserves justice for their beloved Fahim.

i'm sure he's aiming for "not mentally fit" or something of that nature. pleading not guilty when literally seen buying the items and in the elevator with fahim then fleeing the scene... make it make sense.
i dont ever say i hate anyone, not that it really matters i guess, but i truly hate this "person".

They just seem to be constantly kicking the can down the road. Anyway we can find out what’s actually going on? Surprised no one is asking police what the hold up is.

No idea - why no reporters are not reporting on this case. I have not been able to find anything and the court site really is NOT any help.
