The information about the search on The Evening Sun has bee taken down. Another mystery.

I see that. I'm thinking that there must have been something written in the article that someone disapproved of. imo

IMO, her husband is running that FB page and deleting what makes him nervous.

Ganesh Ramsaran has started a Facebook page - “Jennifer L. Ramsaran - Missing Person” - on which he urges readers to contact the Sheriff’s Department if they have any information about his wife.

On the page, he wrote, “Our whole family is so appreciative of all the love and support from everyone!! So many of you have been our friends for so many years and from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU for all of the thoughts and prayers!!!!”

You know, I think the heat is getting to him. It's super unfortunate but I believe he is creating this chaos. Again, I worry for the children.

GR now posts he is joining the search on Sunday!

Yes, all the conflicting stories all along and now this. In one post a few hours ago, it's no search, not approved, etc.

Now, it's gung ho, let's go!

I mean really... The flip flopping is really transparent.

IMO

Damage control. imo

As each day passes, things are looking worse and worse for Jennifer, I really hate to say. :(

As for the fb pages and the searches - what possible harm could there be in searching!? Whatever information is not known to the public (as keeps being alluded to on one of the pages), I cannot think of a single good reason not to search. To try so aggressively to keep people from searching is just CRAAAAAAAZY.

I'm no longer drinking the kool-aid, if you know what I mean.

So now GR is saying he will join the serch, and that fb page posted the info about the search about 3 hours ago. But about 6 hours ago they had a post kind of discouraging people from searching, saying to leave it up to the pro's basically.
I'm so unbelievably confused.

I was in contact with one of the friends from Arizona who set up the FB page.
Taryn told me she is not part of admin, she just helped set it up. Whoever is running that page is creating a constant flow of negativity, IMO, and that is NOT in Jennifer's best interest.

I would really like to know who that "someone" is that is creating the negative energy...

Possibly sabotaging the searches?

JMO

After last night and pretty much all day today? No doubt in my mind....

That makes me think... If someone tries to sabotage the searches, there's something that can be found out there, right?

I can't think of any other reason for his sheer desperation and drastic attempts to shut down this search, other than "he doesn't want anyone to find anything."

I can't see the evening sun article without signing up for a subscription (paid). Is there another way to access it without paying? Or could someone recap it? Thanks.

Yes, it said pretty much what our "Help Find JR" FB Page had already said announcing our search. Paraphrasing, he said that the search is scheduled for this Sunday from 9:00-1:00. We will meet up at the Plymouth Fire Dept. (3461 State Route 23 ~ South Plymouth, NY). The search area will be discussed upon everyone's arrival. And he thanked everyone for their support. This was after one of many tirades about the search being held to begin with. More on that later.

Bingo.

I think that we are putting the pressure on him.

:rocker:

Perhaps that's better left to the professionals, the police, in light of the Powell case that several people have mentioned a concern about. :twocents: :twocents:

Wow. I went to work and...

This all seems very strange.

It seems unfortunate, because due to what's happened with this search what I would suggest is getting in touch with LE and explaining the situation (presumably they're aware already, but if not) and asking what they think you should do. I think that's sad because obviously they should be focusing on finding Jennifer, not dealing with drama, and also because it seems to me that calling off the search would play nicely into whoever is involved with Jennifer's disappearance AND the people or person saying the search was unauthorised, as they will then be able to make it look like they were telling the truth about it being a bad idea.

However, what's important is finding Jennifer. So I feel like, if you ask LE and they are noncommittal or discouraging maybe you should listen to that and call it off. But if they are willing to stand behind it then I think its still a good idea.

Maybe check in with JRs mom too? See what she thinks?

Totally just my two cents. Above all I hope you stay safe, and if you no longer feel its appropriate to go out then you should trust your insticts.

Jillian, first of all props to you on all the time and effort that you have put into the fb page, phone calls with LE, emails with people and organizing a search. I would not like to see you cancel something that is in the positive direction for JR. Any of us would want someone like you to step up if it were us that had gone missing.

I feel like you should proceed. Up until now GR has been in control of the information that the public has been getting......he is probably trying to figure out how this is all "looking" for his image that he isn't the one organizing things. And his response seems quite in line with his personality. Please do what you think is right...but I would love to see you proceed. I wish I was closer so I could help.

I am thinking that GR does not want this search to happen and has done a good job today discouraging people and creating alot of confusion. I understand your concern about possibly calling the search off. He says he is planning to go to the search, but I think his reason for going is not to find Jennifer, but to cling to what little control he has. If the search is called off, people can still search public land and report back on where they have searched. I do appreciate all the work you have done in planning this search and alot of people appreciate it.
