If you make it larger, the wheel cover is dirty- and looks like mud in spokes..

Its pretty pixely when i blow it up, but it looks pretty clean to me. I have spent hours cleaning muddy cars, and the wheels are usually the most caked on. Also almost impossible to clean are the wheel wells which look pretty free of mud here.

The real tipoff is the lack of spatter due to the wheels spinning or forward motion. You can tell how fast a car was going by looking at that. And this one was standing still.

Maybe someone here with a van can cruise down a muddy spring road and do an experiment. I don't take my Lamborghini off road...:)

IMO, having driven in Upstate New York for over 35 years in all kinds of weather, the van doesn't look that bad, if it rained the day before, even secondary paved roads could leave that much mud on the van.
It doesn't really look like the van was stuck, it looks more like the usual spray that happens over time, maybe not being washed in a few weeks prior. I was expecting to see more mud and heavier spots with caked on mud if the van had spend much time on dirt roads.
Oh well, just my two cents.

I am just pointing out the wheels... the water on the road may have cleaned them up a bit- and the front looks almost pressure washed.
It looks like dry pavement under the van in spots. I'll try to clean up the pic when I change computers... All of you locals are the experts on this one. I deal with clay here :)

That is basically the slime I described many moons ago not mud.
It could have come off a gravel (some call them dirt) or a shale road shortly after a rain.

I highly doubt the slime came of a hard (oil & Stone or asphalt) at that time of the year. Had we had a lot of snow incidents prior it would be possibly but the roads had not been sanded heavily at that time last year.

This slime is caused by the sandy (loamy) content of the road be it in the original aggregate or from winter treatments. IMO it was not driven down a "muddy" road.

A close up inspection with the naked eye would likely reveal if it was from a gravel road or shale.

I totally agree. Tomorrow mine will look that once the mud from driving around in the rain dries.

JMO but I don't think the mud is anything significant. Unless as someone said there is evidence on the under carriage. The blood that was reported as found inside.... There is a huge piece to the puzzle. Wish we knew more about the where and how much of that.

Yes, if you enlarge the pic and look at the tires, you can see a ring of mud that goes around the tire, at least halfway up. I think the mud on the tires, dried and fell off, leaving only a ring of mud. Its also very telling with the caked mud and strands of grass at the bottom of the front fender near the door side. I wished i knew how to post pics so i could put this pic in paint and circle the areas that im talking about but i dont know how. Yes, it does look like dry pavement in spots under the van, but under the front passenger seat on the ground, it looks like a clump of mud and grass from the bottom of the van, maybe?

In order of date. With quotes.

Can anyone check for mistakes/omissions? I am going a bit cross-eyed now with reading all those pearls of wisdoms we have seen from certain people. Let me know if you spot anything I have left out, please.

Thank you so much, imamaze, for keeping up with all those media links. You rock!
Thank you for finding the earliest dated article, Abigail. You rock too!

If anyone can put the link in their sig, it will make it much easier for newbies or even long-term posters to catch up/link/ quote people around Jennifer's case. I would put it in mine, but she'll get lost in all the Bob stuff.

Can anyone point me to the first msm mention of the ORANGE car?

The 'Last interview' link - I don't recall seeing that. We have to have that in! Where is it.......Help!

I just couldn't resist posting this one in....from a report on Allison Baden Clay's husband who is currently awaiting trial for her murder.....

April 27, 2012

FOR Gerard Baden-Clay, honesty has always been the best policy.
In his online blogs, his company profiles and in his capacity as a real estate industry leader, it's a topic he revisits over and over.

"In business, it's simple: never lie," he told The Courier-Mail in 2008.

"For starters, it's the wrong thing to do but secondly you will always get caught out and usually when you least expect it.

Oh heck, there she is, little sweetheart. Lost down in my sig there, with all the Bob stuff. And I know she won't push in - she's not the type.

Anyone who has a clean sig and can take the 'burden' of Jennifer on, please do....she ain't heavy, she's our sister, you know..........

This almost sounds like a confession of sorts. "She changed unfortunately, I'll leave it at that." Whatever went down, he didn't like the way he perceived her to change- a gain of self esteem, no longer living in his shadow, the world not revolving around him, etc. It was unfortunate- he sounds as if he justifying something. Jmo. :moo: As far as the meds go he s either implying she had a problem (and tox results will show... Only did she take them herself?) or he is the type who doesn't like his wife needing o be on meds. Perhaps he is the type who doesn't get the Fibromyalgia. Just my two cents.

To me, and just in my opinion, it sounds like '20 reasons why my wife might have run off and left me and you don't need to search for her'.

Which is all very well, except we did need to search for her. Because Jennifer wasn't out having a good time with an online gamer friend, with a new hair colour and cut and slimline figure (obtained in an 'unhealthy' way).

She was lying naked and dead in a ditch somewhere, ripped away from the children who she would never, never have left.

WHAT HAPPENED TO JENNIFER?
