Another exciting development for me - a new fb page has popped up for Bob Harrod, after years of a travesty of a fb page run by a family member. It doesn't have much there yet but I know it must be friendly because one of its favourites is J4J! I'm so glad to see my two favourite people linked. Here is Bob's fb link if any of you guys care to do all that fantastic sharing stuff you do.

We don't discuss FB here. You can say 'check out what was said on FB' and give a link but that's it. Its considered rumor and not allowed here.

We don't discuss organizations, even 'said organizations' here.

Sorry imamaze, thank you for the reminder, and for allowing my little bit of news about Bob to stand. That means a great deal to me.

Here is a video put together of Justice for Jennifer photos sent in. Some of you will see your designs, and photos :) http://youtu.be/vtnst9AENn4 It makes me proud to be part of the team. This will be really nice for the kids when they get a little older to remember their Mom. Keep your photos coming.

Yes upstate You go, I'm so glad you are now a insider!!!!!!

Well, I missed that. But I had kinda guessed upstate might have a little insider knowledge before....Glad you're now official, upstate!

Does anyone recall the spelling of that other odd nickname for GR that we found? Was it Efrerf? It's just that I saw it pop up on the wilder reaches of the internet today, and thought it was a coincidence as I'd never come across it before this thread.

Has anyone managed to get more info on the dresser? If it had a mirror on it? I found a clear, full pic of one that might be very similar, but only if it did not have a mirror. I'm sure it would help if we could get a detailed pic out there of something similar, so people know what they are looking for. The one I found is not Jennifer's by the way, unless it's been shipped to England.

One thought that I had; is it possible Jennifer and GR had house contents insurance? The kind where you are required to take photos of items over a certain value and file them with the company?

My one and only attempt at baking a cake, inspired by Jennifer's skills, is up on someone's facebook now. I can't believe it. I still don't know if it even tasted good because we had an emergency here and it had to go to a good home, where it disappeared very quickly.

I'm terrified someone will ask me to make another one, but I am just a bit proud that Jennifer inspired me and I didn't let her down too badly. I still don't understand how Jennifer cared for a husband, children, cooked and baked and made time for all the creative things she did.

ETA: But it was wonderful that she did, and the greatest loss that she is no longer here to do all those things. She must be missed so much. :(

I don't know about anyone else, but GR still having a bail option means everytime I come to Jennifer's thread I do so with trepidation. I'm always dreading I'll see a post saying that he's out.

And this can go until the trial. Ugh.

I wonder if a solid bit of evidence turned up that GR was planning to flee the last time he was bailed, if that would mean the DA could go back to the judge and ask for the bail option to be taken away?

Yes, the DA can go back to the judge and request a hearing for adjustment to bail, if hard evidence of that sort comes to light. Or any additional evidence of flight risk.

The DA could subpoena credit card records (to see if recent purchases or bookings), as well as phone records for international calls, and information on his computer such as Skype calls or bookings, etc.
(Maybe also could subpoena same from mistress -- if she's still his mistress -- if she's been supplanted, she just might volunteer the info without subpoena).

Evidence the DA could use would include:
1) proof of Dutch citizenship/passport
2) recent application for passports for children
3) tickets purchased for Caribbean cruise or flight to some international destination
4) Mapquest searches on his computer for best route from Norwich, NY to Toronto, Canada
5) proof of property owned abroad (by GR, maybe also by immediate family members)
6) proof of engagement in international shipping business (D.A. already has some documentation of this)

7) what else....???

Proof of bank accounts being moved/opened abroad?
Rental contracts on a house abroad recently entered into?
Name registered with a real estate agent living abroad?
Power of attorney to deal with affairs being handed over to a close relative?

Close relatives doing the above would also sound an alarm to me, but I doubt that would be any use to a DA; it's a free country and people are allowed to come and go as they please.

I have always thought the US doesn't allow anyone to have dual citizenship. Once you become an American citizen, wouldn't you have to give up any other citizenship you had to any other country? I would guess he wouldn't be able to become a citizen of any other country while he is a citizen of the US either, legally? Does this make sense? I know anything is possible, but it would seem that being a US citizen would throw up red flags when trying to enter another country as a citizen of another country with an US passport or the enhanced driver's license. Am I missing something, other that he may think he could pull this off? GR hasn't done anything to worry me about him being some mastermind criminal - quite the opposite really - what am I missing?

I think it's that the Dutch have said that anyone who was a resident of their country for 5 full years and under 18, but was taken abroad before 2003, can keep their citizenship. Even if they become a citizen of another country.

So they would have refused to take away GR's citizenship when he became a US citizen. I'm not quite sure how the US would demand someone became a non-citizen in that case? Make them hand over their other passport? But then GR could just go to the Dutch embassy, say he had lost his, and get another one.

I'm just guessing as I really don't know. But I do think if someone was prepared to be less than honest or honorable with authorities, it would be possible to hold two passports for someone in a situation like GR's, being born elsewhere and brought to the US as a child.

ETA: He would have had a Dutch passport as a child and could just have kept renewing it maybe? I don't know if US authorities could check that.

However, if he flees and an Interpol alert goes out, I think it will flag up if he holds a Dutch passport. And the alert will go out to every country in the european union and associated countries too.

Let's just hope we never have to find out. For now - Little man in a big cell
