i couldn't tell if his resolve was weakening much.
he was frustrated by both the DA and his own attorney.
he wanted to talk his way, on his terms.
i think he'll become belligerent on the stand under cross examination and may even shut down.
but now that he's on the stand, he can't refuse to answer questions that he doesn't like.
he will only dig his hole deeper the more he opens his mouth.
he's screwed, IMO!
I just hope this is not a strategy to evoke sympathy from the jury ,ie: Even his own attorney is badgering him. They may feel he is an awful guy but maybe, just maybe his lawyer is hoping a few jurors will feel like he is being treated badly and they will find a little bit of sympathy for him. When McBride gets him he should be gentle but direct and try not to treat him harshly because that is something the jury may not like. IMO.
