Still nothing on the local billboards.
Very frustrating.
GR is next of kin.
Why not put her picture on the damn billboards already?

by "next of kin," i mean he would be responsible for doing this...

and by "responsible for doing this," i mean, no one else can.
has to be a family member. some have said "next of kin."

forgive me if this has already been discussed, i may need to dig a little deeper still....
but question for a local, is there a large(er) court case that is or has been happening in the area? a investigative story for reporters or maybe your towns police department is full with something...... else...????

i keep questioning the silence of authorities & even the news media a little. i will say that if i was a investigative reporter i'd be all over the in's & out's of this story. even if i was an actual police investigator, i'd find this story to be a bit more interesting than traffic tickets & drug deals. where's the noise from your town!? i would love to come be (or play) an investigative jounalism for this story.... if i was still a young one i'd take this on for a crimal justice paper.

My opinion would be to seem concerned in regards to the children and her parents that live next door. It was fairly early to report her missing IMO but she could have been the type that was never late or always kept in touch. I'd go with the first one.

This guy is a PM with a Tech Company. He works remote - so he has a knowledge of Technology (must have to work remote - I work remote and there's a inherent need there to do that)... he has iPhones. He's a control freak.

There is no way IMO that he did not know about, nor did not know how to use, the iPhone application for "tracking the phone". No way. No way he would not have used it before a day and a half transpired. Hell, as controlling as he was, and if he had suspicions of her activity -that he had used it in the past.. All SO fishy!!

I can see this being the situation.....

Now that I think about it.... It was said she had $500 to spend on a gift and a dress...

Usually when I go shopping I take my debit/credit card.... And buy items with the card.... Hoping I stay within a pre-planned amount.... But my DH doesn't ask how much I will be spending before I go.... And He finds out the amount days later when he pays the bills.....

But there is no allowance.... The money is OUR money... And we trust each other to spend what is needed to be spent...

I know I am rambling... But your post made me think there may have been a power struggle with the money situation on the part of GR...

JMO

your thoughts just sparked my thoughts :waitasec:

my husband is the opposite of yours. he watches most every trans i put on our & my credit card, but i also take a cash draw a few times a month for "me" things that i know he can't watch (example may or may not be sephora makeup for this work from home / stay @ home mama. ok sorry :blushing:) & it IS a power struggle as i used to be bringing in at least half if not more of our family income when i was childless & working outside of the home.

but my point is this... though through my experience i can see the therory of her having a bit of "its / HE's too much" kind of mentality & needing a "break" but i have a GUT wrenching feeling that she wouldn't leave those kids. i KNOW i would NEVER leave my little guys... i'd take them with me.. but i'd NEVEREVEREVER leave them. just from what i've read & have learned... i think JR's heart is in the same place when it comes to her kids..... :sigh:

Wouldn't an explanation be that Jennifer's iPhone was turned off during that time period, and therefore not only was she not answering any calls he may have made to her, but the app would be unable to track her cell...until the following day? If so, then her iPhone was turned on again sometime prior to him using the app again, and he was then finally able to track its location.

Perhaps he knows that doing so is a waste of time and money????

My thoughts exactly.

Just wondering why he's not at least giving the public "a show"...

His PR was also given the information to Adams Outdoor Advertising, a company that makes free billboards for missing persons. Nothing on that front either...

No, there really isn't anything going on

Park outdoor owns most billboards around. Chenango welding can tell you who owns the digital in front of them as its not Park.

What happened to lavanda?

Re Timeline:

Who was at the home when children returned from school?

Were GdP's in-state at this time of year to assist with children after school?

Bus or parental drop-offs and pick-ups?

O/T -- It's very frustrating to hit the Thanks button on a post, have it not show up, and then have to refresh the page and do it again. And then have to do the same thing all over again a couple of posts later. I wish they would fix this glitch!! For the record, I'm not currently in the mood to refresh the page 10 million times, but I do like all you guys' posts, lol.

O/T... but... When I first tried to thank your post here.... My Thanks Button didn't work, either! :giggle:

Ready to go on his run and to the Y - don't runners usually start their run earlier than 10.30am if they have to work?

I am picturing GR as putting on his workout clothes first thing as he gets up in the morning... Does his workouts through the day.... And maybe only changes out of them if he needs to go out in public.....

JMO

He did go out running in public that day.
He stopped at the sauna because he wasn't dressed for the weather, and got cold.
Part of his alibi is running into a police officer in the sauna at the Y in Norwich that day.

Not sure about everyone else, but as an outdoors person, I always check the weather forecast before I hike, sometimes several times before leaving.

Here is an excerpt from another case about salutations:

4. Greetings and salutations in analysis. The words "said our goodbyes" within a statement is indicative of the negative. It is a 'phrase' ("our goodbyes") or a figure of speech. How is it a negative in analysis? We all say "I love you" and "good night" to our children, for example, but those who put it in their statements do so for the purpose of persuasion. It is the need to explain that we view as suspicious. Also the words of departure making their way into a statement in domestic homicide cases can signal the time of death. It is to be considered a negative. That this subject needs to tell us of these departing words is a signal of something gone wrong.

So VERY interesting.... :what:

Actually taking a sauna when you are totally cold is not a good idea, because it might give your organism a nasty shock. Too big difference of the temperatures. And when you are all warmed from the sauna, going outdoor (with the temps below freezing) in an inappropriate clothing sounds like a great recipe for bronchitis.
