Check the Jan 10 Media Release about JR, and a comment by BB 12 hours ago.

I saw this question asked somewhere else as well! I'll find the link in a second. I believe it must be GR signed into her account, since he has her password and has been making changes to her page.

ETA: Okay, it was the same person, BB, asking the same question on the Missing Person page: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...05231622.21590.116018661901063&type=1&theater

When someone is logged in from a mobile device, it shows a little phone icon by your name in the chat list, so that's probably what she was seeing - and it was prob GR who was logged in!

Should have worded it differently:

RB: Do you know if GR's computer is being analyzed too?

Reading the below quotes it appears to me that all computers are being examined.

Sheriff Ernie Cutting said they are executing search warrants for the 18 acre grounds, the home, cars, computers and phone records.

On Tuesday, state police forensic investigators, armed with both a warrant and permission from the husband, conducted a painstaking search of the family’s home, Cutting said. The investigators are also examining all electronic devices, including computers and cellphones, in an attempt to gather information that could explain Jennifer Ramsaran’s disappearance.

I just looked it up - the little phone means that the person uses the new FB messenger app, not that you are online, only that you have the app and have used it as far as I can see. Wonder how new it is.

ETA - I looked at JR's on my iPad and it shows up, doesn't on the PC, it probably lights up when your online.

Here is more info concerning that app- logged, last time on, etc...

What is my status in Facebook chat if I'm logged in on mobile?

If you're logged in on mobile, your friends will see a mobile icon . If you've downloaded Messenger, they'll see the ( green dot) icon. At this time, you cannot change this mobile icon your friends see unless you log out of the app.

:floorlaugh: you and me both: one of my kids found the answer for me!

ETA: I love my flip-phone ! I have a Blackberry Playbook, not an Ipad: I'll check that in the am- it's upstairs in my bag where Dadrids6 is :countsheep:

I think we're prob about the only 2 left on the planet without a smart phone! ha :floorlaugh:

Jumping back to the topic of hair clippings left either in the sink or in the trash along with the remnants of a hair coloring or lightening it that was discussed way back...

Wondering how plausible it is that the hair clippings were planted in that bathroom after something sinister happened to Jennifer.

Seems if someone were to purposely up and leave, they wouldn't make it look obvious, and would clean up their mess. Also, remember ~ this wasn't discovered until later on that night, if I recall correctly.

Statistically speaking, if Jennifer were one of the 1% (depending on what research you read) of mothers who abandon their children, and start a new life, one would do so in a less obvious manner.

I can get online with mine...why would I want to though, with that keyboard.
I have the barcode scanner for prices on my Playbook- no need for a smartphone

ETA: Out here in East Podunk, the cell reception is so bad, a smartphone would be a waste of money; no signal.

She keeps an immaculate home, and seems to still iron clothes; I cannot imagine her leaving a mess at any time.

Lavanda stated that Jen uses a color rinse ( like tinted shampoo or conditioner I gather), and that a pro colors Jen's hair.

I don't think she would wash her hair in the sink. Maybe she trimmed her bangs because they were in her eyes- but that could have been anytime if in the wastebasket.

And that 1% is 99% comprised of women who have a mental illness, are destitute, and/or a drug/alcohol addiction.

I think the hair clippings could be another plant. For that matter, he could have dug some out of the trash, left over from another day when she clipped her own hair, and put it in the sink to fit with his story of her running away.

Or if she never planned on going to the mall (GR is the only one who has said she had this plan, right?), then maybe she was at home that morning going about her business, clipping her hair. And it was just convenient for GR to use it later as part of the story.....

I wish someone could explain why what shoes she had on have not been identified?
Maybe because she never got to put on the shoes she planned on wearing?
I mean, it's wintertime- surely she does not have 20 pair of boots or warm shoes that would be suitable for mall walking - especially with metal pins in her toes.

If not her husband, her mother or oldest daughter would know what pair is missing.

BBM - I'm wondering too about all the hair he found in the bathroom on the night of the day JR disappeared especially since he now says that JR "got a new haircut the Friday before she went missing".

“The week before (the disappearance) she spent $300 on brand-new clothes just for herself, and got a new haircut the Friday before she went missing,” he said. “There were lots of different changes.”

It's very bothersome how much information isn't being put out there, as if it would somehow hurt the case to let it out.

Speaking of which, I meant to say earlier that it's very convenient for GR to be able to hide behind the "It would hurt the investigation" excuse in not searching, not releasing info, not speaking up more, etc. If I had a bunch of information that might help find my missing spouse, I'd sure as heck be sharing the info in hopes that someone would hit on something. I'd also be out sleuthing on my own, doing anything I could to track them down (if I believed they were out there alive somewhere).

Exactly. In fact, everyone in the nation would know what color of bra and panties I had on that day too. I asked my husband; he said he'd put the kids on TV to beg for my release if he had to- to keep it in the news.

Considering he works for an enormous company, that company is able to give her disappearance worldwide coverage.

Hmmm, since his superiors and co-workers know, why hasn't the company given this worldwide coverage?
