I posted it,:seeya: because there are many gone now, that were there in the beginning, and even recently. Following up on who may be taking them down. One young lady told me that they took it down, because it kept falling down....We started posting long before there were "official flyers" available..so have went back to post current ones, and found enough gone to make us question it.

No offense taken at all! Thanks for the clarification!

By messages I'm assuming you mean people comments which makes complete sense because those are just as much rumor as FB.
 
Lets talk phones.
Was it an iPhone?
Was it AT&T? Most likely as they live in the shadow of a very large AT&T tower.
There is intermittent AT&T service all the way out 23 Verizon not nearly as much.
In an area such as this I find it hard to believe a smart phone could hold a charge very long out in the cold and the theory of it turning on when thrown out the window is just ludicrous.
Now where exactly and what time was the phone found?

As far as I know, this is the only info we have about discovery of the phone.

ETA: Although MSM did say that GR found the phone using the find-a-phone app. Just can't find that link for you right now.

According to a LavandaD WS post, Jennifer's iPhone was located less than 12 hrs after RG reported her missing (8 PM). So, I'm assuming perhaps a little bit before 8:00 AM, or between 7:30 - 8:00 AM the following morning:

The official time of Jennifer's missing was reported via 9-1-1 by her husband to the PD on the phone. Her father didn't want GR to phone 9-1-1. He didn't want police involved. He wanted to wait it out for her to come home. Because she was not answering text messages or phone calls during the day...GR was getting desperate and worried.
Finally, GR decided he didn't care what his father in law wanted...he was calling. He phoned 9-1-1 at 8pm. The pinging of the phone would not locate the device. It was in the morning, less than 12 hours later the pinging finally traced to the phone.

The story stating that GR found the phone using the find my iphone app is also a CNY story, I think it's from early January. The link is in the media thread.

Jennifer is so lucky to have a group of people who will NEVER stop looking for her.

If you are safe and are reading this please find a way to let your children know you're alive. I understand that you might not want contact with your husband, parents or friends but your children should know that you're unharmed, you can work on the rest when you're ready. Send a postcard, maybe you could write something only they would understand.

I'm not disputing that he's a short man, but let's do be accurate. There's a lot of difference between < 5'3" and 5'6"

Thank you. We've been encouraging this as we know those that have left due to being despondent invariably are reading and watching. We need to continue the prayers that she is in fact safe and out there.

GR has asked his father in law, since the day it was planned, to be involved to assist and for he and Jenn's mom to attend. I also sent a message to Jenn's mother about the event ....The last we knew Jennifer's father was supposed to come. <Mod Snip>
