Suicide has already been mentioned somewhere, unfortunately, as has a drug overdose.

We know there was a substantial amount of blood found under the seat of the van. So, unless she stumbled from her van with a gaping head wound, and with a serious loss of blood, down route 23, over 10 miles (?), climbed into a ditch on Center Road in Pharsalia, <modsnip>, and then at least partially buried herself, all while being unseen by any passersby, I would say, "No."

I see a sudden onslaught of theories coming this way.

Jennifer's parents searched nearly every day for their daughter. I've seen the map they used. They highlighted all the roads they've driven on, nearly every single day, weather permitting.

I saw them last this past Saturday when they showed up to get new flyers and search. I gave them a list of roads certain experienced people zoned in on, and sent them on their way, while taking my own map and doing more on foot with the people I was with. They too searched on foot in the past - even approaching abandoned houses with crumbling foundations. Yes, they were desperate, as anyone of us would be if we knew our child was out there somewhere.

How close is Jennifer's parents house to GR's? Is is that close that they can look out their window and see whats happening at the house?
How horrible for them to be going out doing searches and seeing GR was at home, getting visits from ES etc.
They are very strong people to not just march over there and demand to know everything he knows.
So heartbreaking for them.

At this stage they will not even admit it is her.

No problem it's 4pm here Wednesday so I'll try to find something while I sit at the table with my kids doing homework. Hopefully they will let me and they keep their bickering to a minimum :sigh:

a few hundred feet, if that. very close. yes, they can each see each other's houses, who pulls in and out, how long someone stays, etc.

Just horrifying for them. I bet they are sitting awake now waiting for tomorrow. Waiting to see their precious grand kids.

i saw that.

so many people complaining that this information was released on the HFJR page before confirmation, as if we would be so callous to do that. we had definite confirmation.

in fact, WS did SO MUCH to ensure that this thread was shut down before there was confirmation, as a safety measure.

my long winded point is that there isn't anyone else missing from chenango county, so it's odd to question this to begin with.
