i saw that.

so many people complaining that this information was released on the HFJR page before confirmation, as if we would be so callous to do that. we had definite confirmation.

in fact, WS did SO MUCH to ensure that this thread was shut down before there was confirmation, as a safety measure.

my long winded point is that there isn't anyone else missing from chenango county, so it's odd to question this to begin with.

Like maybe it fell out of someones running shorts. Then that someone, realizing it was gone, used the Iphone find my phone app to locate it. Then maybe that someone went to where the phone was found, deleted incriminating information, and THEN called the police to report the phone found.

I was at the "Shining Hope" event a few Saturdays back. I did not mingle with the attendees, but rather, stayed in my truck and watched from a distance. I can't shake how a certain someone acted like it was more a family picnic than anything else.... that is, until the press and family members showed up. Then he became more subdued and somber. I will never forget this "first impression" I had as I felt it was very strange and telling at the time. If he is responsible in some way, it saddens me to no end that someone could be so callous as to attend an event like that, knowing at the same time, what the real truth was. JMHO

Bethany has been gone since 2008. I seriously doubt that the determination that it was FEMALE human remains would be made so quickly as if it was her, there would be very little left to make the female/male determination without forensics.

also, when they say "the southern tier" that covers a HUGE area, so the article is kind of misleading, in my opinion.
when i read that, i wondered why they plopped that in there, because the odds just seem so slim.
