Administrators of Martin De Porres High School, where Lewis was a student, called police on May 17, 2011 and reported that he had said he hated women and threatened to use a knife against them, sources said.

Lewis got into an argument with a female student and later asked the dean of the school, "What happens if I bring a knife to school?" a source said.

Police did not arrest Lewis, 20, but did document the incident as involving an emotionally disturbed person.

I think what Det. Boyce was saying was "there was an attempted rape," meaning he started removing her clothing, and then she started fighting.
I know most here think she was raped, but, I think that was a story that MSM started that simply wasn't true, and that story grew wings. MSM is still saying she was raped.
The reason I think that she wasn't is, because, in the video, Det. Boyce is very clear about what happened and what didn't. If she was raped, I think he would have said so.

As noted above, the rape charge is going before a grand jury to decide if it can proceed. There must be some confidence in sexual assault evidence to put it before a grand jury, I would assume. Jmo.

Agreed. He never said she wasn't raped, he said no evidence that it was completed. It was attempted x2.

Right. MSM had reported that her buttocks were very bruised. Graphic, sorry. Guess the autopsy will tell the story. Poor Karina...

Could very well be.
I wonder if the charge will be rape, or sexual assault.
I may have misinterpreted what Det. Boyce said, but once penetration is achieved, that is rape.

I agree. They may have found internal damage/injuries in the autopsy, but if no semen was found then how can they prove he was the cause of it? I'm guessing it's something complicated like that.

There is a post from Karinas friends expressing frustration about ppl saying hes being framed..
She also said he did go home that day and had scratches all on his face, told mom he "fell"
I cant believe ppl can do this and walk away then live their life.

Glad you brought that up! I had the same thought yesterday and forgot to mention it. The sketch looks kind of like the dad.
