The blue dotted route is most likely what he took since there were no cameras that picked up anyone leaving on the Howard Beach side.

Would be interesting now that detectives know who and possibly the direction he went after attack..to find surveillance from Aug 2nd along those streets to the mothers home.

And I agree about the surveillance! Even more curious to see if they find him on surveillance going back that way at all AFTER what he'd done.

Yup, a young man of that age could easily run it in 30-35 mins. I saw he was wearing track pants when he was escorted out of the precinct.

We don't know that he walked directly to the crime location. For all we know, he left home hours before the attack and wandered around before encountering Karina. Has it been reported what time he left the house?

Ignore the route. We know he didn't go out that way. But regardless it would be approx 20 mins still if he went out north towards Belt Pkwy and over Erskine Street.

Speaking of Bikes does anyone remember early on when there were reports on the police scanner from that night of some kid or kids on bikes coming from the park? I am trying to remember if there was any mention of color of clothing or bike color.. I am looking back to find it but I cant seem to find it..I think someone called in about it...ugh I wish I could remember! oh and BTW Lauranyc83 awesome on the map to the park!!

and lastly yes there is a Bus that runs by Howard Beach to Brooklyn I believe its the same bus line that Goes down to the St Martins HS

Yes, they attacked an off duty emt worker I believe. Stole his iPad. EMT worker refused medical care. Back then I thought it all to be suspicious and felt like that was a made up story and the emt person was Karinas attacker. But it doesn't seem like CL has many or any friends? I have yet to see one speak out about him.

At 6am it was pretty vacant because I ran before work. Now, years later I am so careful about where and when I run. Back then I was young and didn't think about it.
 
Oh great you remember!.. but you don't remember any colors of the bikes or clothing.. I was just wondering if a bike color was mentioned that would match the one in that room.. although that bike looks rather small for him to be riding..Yeah I don't know if he has friends.. or maybe he does and its not really friends but people who take advantage of him and pretend to be his friend and they are surely not going to back him up... but who knows really.. I need to go back and try and find where that police scanner blub is.. to look at it now and see if something pops out.. now that we know all that we know now about CL

oh crap really? oh no!!! ugh.. I didn't think it was a problem really??....I am dying to find out anything from that blurb.. to see if now today it matches to something or lights someone's lightbulb!!... well at least we are all on the same page and we remember the kid or kids on the bikes ha!

Hopefully someone can help me here. Can anyone link to the scanner thread for others to see? I can't seem to do it from the Tapatalk app.

Also can I bring forward the scanner rewind on that thread, that way I can address something that I've just noticed?
