Great find Columbo!!! Hmmm. according to a Time article i read this am, escorts are hesitant to call 911 or the police and the expert stated that the SK probably has victims who survived.

Now I understand their hesitancy to give tips. I don't think anyone in an official capacity REALLY looks out for these women. They are viewed as trash and not worthy of inquiry, MOO.

It makes me sad and angry at the same time.

Thanks. I see what you mean, waltzingmatilda. That's probably all the comment is about. And it does make me both angry and sad that these girls are treated like trash by everyone, it seems.

But---do you think there might be some connection with this case? Maybe it's someone who is pretending to be Shannan but doesn't know how to spell her name, and actually does have information--maybe she or he is just teasing the cops or the press with this comment ? It is an unusual spelling of Shannan, anyhow--usually the name is spelled Shannon.
