According to the police commisioner
The Dr. making the call is "debunked"--sounds like he is totally off the hook, no surprise to me. BTW, the phonecall to SG's mother was made the day after she went missing, May 2.
Easy enough to trace phone records of the Dr.
the doc
How can the story about someone calling the family claiming to be Doc be debunked? It obviously happened. Why on earth would SG's family lie about that? Now, maybe it wasn't PH who actually made the call, but the call certainly happened. Debunked my foot.
Also not buying that they are bringing in divers to search the water because it just happens to be close to where bodies were found. Heck, why not just search the whole Atlantic Ocean?
Nope...something is leading LE to believe a water search will turn up something. I'd bet on it.
Can you fill me in on whether or not it's true that the doc saw SG in the early morning hours before she vanished?
Maybe evidence/accoutrements to the crimes of the bodies found near it. Would a SK be so sloppy?
Thanks. I see what you mean, waltzingmatilda. That's probably all the comment is about.
But---do you think there might be some connection with this case? Maybe it's someone who is pretending to be Shannan but doesn't know how to spell her name, and actually does have information--maybe she or he is just teasing the cops or the press with this comment ? It is an unusual spelling of Shannan, anyhow--usually the name is spelled Shannon.
No one has any idea if PH saw SG or not. What we do know is that SG's family members have said that someone called them claiming to be PH, and this person claimed that SG stayed at his house that night. That he was helping her with her drug problem and trying to help her get off the street. (paraphrasing)
Was the caller actually PH? Not a clue.
also from that sketch ...I cannot get over the eyes...the eyes really freak me out...who ...other than Dr. Hackett , has eyes like that??????
if this Dr. is innocent..then I apologize in advance...but it's hard to dismiss.
I could see our SK chucking something (body, clean up evidence, etc) into the water. Not from the shoreline, but from a boat perhaps.
Which brings me to a question: does anyone know where exactly these coves are that LE has divers searching? Oceanside, or in one of the bays on the same side of road where bodies were found? Heck...where do you even find coves? *snicker* I'm a mountain girl...help me out, sealovers.
Which sketch do you mean? I'm only familiar with the one of the AC "foot fetishist," and he's wearing sunglasses.
Thanks. I see what you mean, waltzingmatilda. That's probably all the comment is about. And it does make me both angry and sad that these girls are treated like trash by everyone, it seems.

According to CBS Local, the doc saw Shannan running near Oak Beach:
Hackett said he saw Gilbert running at night near Oak Beach, looking both sick and distressed.
These people need closure and we need to find this girl if she is alive, he said.
