No. LOL. No matter where you are on LI there's a station not very far away. There are probably 10 stations within a 20 minute drive from my house.

Anyone else have their margins blown? Difficult to read and post. When we get to the next page, will margins readjust so to speak?
Mine aren't but that's bc I have an extremely large monitor. Anyway, blown margins is a result of an inline image (very likely, in this case, the LIRR map) that extends beyond the default page width. It will be fine again once you're on a page that does not contain that image.O/T

Bad margins!! Haha I thought it was just me being a newbie! Tx!
He came out of retirement for this case? I wonder if some case he worked on in the past has some kind of link to this case. Something he was unable to solve but has great knowledge about?I'm going to defend the link I use below based upon the fact that Dormer was born in Ireland, but is obviously a US citizen. Irish pride is strong, and many of the NYPD and LI PD are of Irish heritage and/or still have links to Ireland. Therefore, IMO, the reporter's sources are likely good.
Anyway, looks like this SK/john was sending text messages, as well:

The suspected killer always phoned in the evenings, spoke briefly and in a low voice -- and only to Amanda [Melissa B's sister]. He snarled taunts and allegations at her and interspersed his calls with abusive text messages.
And
The view that the murders are the work of a serial killer has been backed by Richard Dormer, the police commissioner, originally from Crettyard in Laois, who is heading up the investigation. Dormer, who is now a US citizen, retired in 1993 but came out of retirement to head up the second-largest police department in the US.

Many good posts left behind---will margins be blown again if posts are quoted?

MB sister, I sure hope LE is watching and guarding her for this SK seems to be fixated on her.
Hi epiphany.IMO, I think he is a current resident of Long Island, with ties to NYC either from having worked at one time in either Manhattan or The Bronx, or is currently working in one or the other of these 2 boroughs. If he is currently employed on Long Island, I think he is either a transplant from The Bronx to Long Island, or has family roots from either Manhattan or The Bronx, and is therefore more familiar with these 2 boroughs.
