Thanks for those updates MrsG, Do you think there is a certain reason they are going to do a water search in Hemlock Cove?

Is it just because it is so close to the remains found do you think? Or has their ground penetrating radar seen something below the water? Maybe to look in water one needs side sonar, but I don't know how deep the water is in the cove. xox

This is what I wanna know too. Water searches are so time consuming and tough. I wonder if they have something leading them to do this other than they might find something because it's close to where the other remains were found.

What I read sounded like Sherre was saying the Dr didn't deny making the call only denied that he told the mom Shannan had spent the night at his house IMO I think it is in one of those sections of Shannan's site set up by her sister. I'll try to find it later.

I don't want to disparage Sherre but I don't think she was very clear on exactly what the doctor said when they confronted him about the call. I think during the taped interview she even admitted she wasn't sure if he was denying the call all together, or denying he said Shannon was in his care.

Yup. Not buying that the driver asked the cops to not reveal his name, and they said, OK, will do! If there were nothing they needed him to remain silent about, more than likely LI cops would have told him that he was on his own re his name coming out to the media.

Here's where I get confused: Do we know for a fact that SG's driver was in fact the asian man GC observed in the SUV? Is it possible this was a different man, someone attending the "party" at JB's? Also, it's a gated community...how did the driver get in unless someone from JB's went down and let him in? Did he have a code? A card? A key? If not, who went down and opened the gate? Where was Shannan while this occurred? Just sitting in the livingroom talking to 911? If she's calling 911 from the home, why does she flee only when her driver shows up? Wouldn't she have seen him as protection, a way to leave the home and the people she was so afraid of?

The whole thing is just crazy.

I believe Shannan SAW or was shown human remains, or she was told they were making a movie and was asked to wear or saw a personal item she knew a "missing" co-worker/friend/acquaintance had worn/owned ? Then put. 2 & 2 together. For all we know the "asain man" was paid to bring her there or keep her there? Is he part of the group? Making S&M movies or worse.

From her temperament on that call, she KNEW they were going to kill her. She wasn't afraid they might.
She managed to get out of the home. Did either of the neighbors ask her to come inside and shut the door or were they going
to have her wait outside while they called LE? Can't say I blame them (neighbors ) IMAGINE HOW PANICKED A WOMAN WOULD BE HAD SHE SEEN A DEAD WOMAN ~ no less maybe someone she had known... & SHE WAS NEXT!

Now that I am more familiar with the case, it is obvious to me the driver is lying. I do not believe he drove around looking for her for a long time.

To be honest, I think they're all lying.

One possible scenario is... the bf/pimp + driver, regularly supply this group of single/divorced middle-aged men with call girls. And that [that] "gated community" is hiding an extremely dark secret. One that they're willing to lie for. One that involves murdering prostitutes and possibly even homeless people. A "community cleaner" if you may. Perhaps one of them has a son that's a little bit "off" ... or, he learned "things" from "dear old dad."

All things considered, this case is beginning to remind me more and more of the book, "The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo" where the rich, yet aging, family, hid their own depraved secrets. One that involved sadistic serial murder with religious overtones. Then again, that could be nothing more than my over-active imagination at work.

Whatever the case, I think the body count will continue to rise.

I wonder if the LE can trace the IP of that comment because I don't think it's random.

Now that you mention it, I came across links to local newspaper stories of JS covering the local high school's, womens basketball and interviewing the high school security guard/ (Post tomorrow). So he works at the high school. Well, we have a young populace, scores of young females. Temptation?? JS seems like a decent looking feller. I am sure he's been face to face with temptation. Acting upon this would be illegal. How would one replicate this legally or less illegally. Prostitution. So then you would choose what you desire, what tempts you! Maybe resorting to prostitutes angers him??? IDK....but def bed tyme now....

Dredge workers work 12 hours shifts in crews of 2 and never leave the dredge except in a tender in full sight of their mate. Basically, they don't go ashore, so I don't see how there could be a connection. This comment refers to LI, not AC.

Regarding schedule, you can check with DEC, but not relevant to LI as all dredging is done between Oct and Jan roughly.

Wow. Once this is solved, unfortunately it will probably be made into a very scary true life horror movie since it's so frightening. It's odd about Shannon. She was supposedly "delirious" which is an odd way to put it IMO. Was she given some sort of drugs at the party... or was she in a psychotic state due to drugs and a flare up of mental illness....... She was lucid enough to run from house to house and wasn't too paranoid to ask for help and she was sensible enough to hold on to her cell phone, dial 911, and stay on the line. But, she claimed that someone was trying to kill her and even supposedly named the driver, then was telling someone in an suv to "stop it and get away from me"? You'd think if it had been the driver or either man at the party that she'd have been screaming they were there to kill her. Maybe she hadn't seen the person in the vehicle so far that night. Could the abductor have had a police scanner and heard the police being dispatched out there?

Also: someone asked why the driver didn't chase after her right away if he went into the home. He was probably collecting any money owed to her for being there several hours on the job.

Gosh Evelyn, Great catch !!! I think you should email that to whoever is in charge of the investigation on Shannan. Do they have a task force set up?

Exactly! And why does JB call the driver and tell him that SG won't leave? If he was going to kill her, why not just do it...why have someone come and get her? And why doesn't she run BEFORE the driver shows up to take her out of there? Her driver shows up and THEN she runs? Also, how the heck does JB acquire the driver's cell number unless he knows him?!

Nope...I call BS. Either JB or the driver (or both!) are lying their you know what's off.
