Those are some really good questions. I've thought about a few of these questions myself. I live in ontario and the last year or so we have what seems like serial killer behaviour with unsolved cases. Whoever this person is he enjoys toying with police.

I am so sorry to hear about what's going on your community. I hope and pray, that some day soon, the phrase “serial killer” is obsolete.

It is comforting to know that other people have the same questions as I do.

Some More Questions

Apparently, voice manipulation software is used within the on-line gaming community to fool opponents and/or to enhance their characters/avatars. It looks like the software can be use to convey emotions, make a voice sound like a different gender and even sound drunk. Could the perp be a gamer?

I'm sorry...the following question is gross! Did anyone notice the presence of carrion eaters (particularly the flying variety: herring gulls, hawks, falcons, owls, osprey, eagles, harriers) where S.G.'s remains were eventually found? With the remains so close to the highway (no gawker slow downs?) so close to residential areas in possibly turbid water; wouldn't sanitation, ecology and/or wildlife management personnel have noticed the presence of carrion eaters and at least taken a look see? That is if S.G.'s remains were where they were found the whole time intact.

If the perp is a digital and physical voyeur/stalker/peeping tom and has been spying on Long Island community members, could he have used the the information gathered to determine who would be away from home for a while and use those homes to perpetrate his crimes?

Um, does anyone else get the feeling that Mari's lawyer had a parade to grand marshal shortly after today's press conference?

It was the 1st thing that caught my eye... WTF, did they film a scene on "Boardwalk Empire" before this interview.. the only thing missing were the tommy guns

I worked for the phone company for awhile. There is a wealth of information on customers' accts...address, place of employment, phone # of workplace, etc. Alot of employees can access that information easily. (it is forbidden but some do, I've heard of others doing it) The company also provided ongoing training for technological advances.

Which victim's mother received a phone call at her place of employment and the caller claimed to be a NY police officer? She was suspicious because she had not given her work # to the police for contact.

This would be the type of information an employee of a phone co. could easily access thru phone records regardless if in a call center setting or a tech/engineering setting.

The very thought makes my geek o meter go off the charts!

I'm glad Mari stood up tall like that. To think that Shannan's earring was found on the walk outside JB"s front door several days after her going missing is beyond me.

The only other thing I can think of is JB found the earring in his house and tossed it out there a couple of days after she had been there. The Chief said an officer thoroughly searched JB's property right after LE was called. If it was so easy for Sherre to find it, what is with the cop not spotting it? :crazy:

Maybe not. She did fall down those steps it is said. There are allot of steps outside his front door, right? I wonder how far she fell. Has any local gone by JB's to check out those stairs?

Seriously. These guys must have just come out of a time machine. The Andy Griffith and Pink Panther digs are just a little dated at this point. Plus, wasn't Andy Griffith fairly competent? I thought it was Barney Fife that was kind of an idiot.

Okay, seriously. It's probably a good thing that they're pressuring the SCPD by putting the spotlight on them. And why wouldn't you accept help from the FBI. I hardly think that any police department has the experience and know how that the FBI has.

Maybe this explains Dormer's apparent annoyance at the profile that was released a while back.

Voice Changers are pretty obvious especially when you try to play off the opposite sex. I have heard many ppl use it on a very well known Virtual World on line game.
I do like this theory of the phone company and employees makes sense to me as a lead worth looking into.
edit to add:
I live on the inter-coastal mangrove swamps of the SE, USA and I am always looking for the buzzards and watching where they swarm thinking they are cleaning up something that died. The Oak Beach residents had to see them it is not that far away and with knowing a missing girl from there streets has not been found.

That's something that has been eating at me since it was released. I don't understand how a 16 month old baby can go unknown like this, unless the baby was born overseas or God forbid the baby was born while the SK was holding and torturing her mother.

IMO the 16 month old baby, her mother, and the Asian guy in a dress were likely illegal immigrants hence the reason why we can't ID them.

The longer they go unidentified the more likely they are victims of sex trafficking. And who has a conviction related the sex trafficking, bringing a woman from Sri Lanka to Dallas airport where he was arrested? And who has reviewed the quality of escorts he has hired in various foreign countries with directions on how to find them? The new Jane Doe sketch LE released recently for some reason makes me think of a Russian girl. Could MP have met American men in foreign countries that might be related to Oak Beach?

Was this the mother of the daughter who was taunted on the phone? If so, he could have retrieved her work number from Melissa's cell phone. Or maybe got the number from the victim as he was torturing her to death.

I think it was Megan Waterman's Mother who got strange phone calls from someone claiming to be a Long Island police officer, but something was hinky about the calls.
