Blown away by what I read today on the FB page. There's a VA anchorman asking questions who has been told that no more questions will be answered on the FB "search" page because they are too tiring and getting too personal. It's now only to be used for support.

Yeah I thought that very intense. Here all this time I thought they wanted. Media attention...I guess just the ones they can control IMO. This makes me feel sad for RM if he is truly lost and in danger..

Love the face! I don't think I was thinking what you may be thinking! I think searching is a nice distraction if you know he left. IMO, I could be entirely wrong.

Do you think she would actually "play" all those FB people, and all others concerned for Rob? She has no conscience? Wow, that would really be heartlessness and extremely selfish.

I'm sure from IM, my point is it was not publicly released by IM, the SAR member mentioned it (not LE either).

So....I remember on FB somewhere...IM said the bike was kept in a shed, not the garage, and she had no idea how long it had been gone. :scared: ...and didn't notice until RM was gone that it was missing as well. :banghead: may have been on the 1st FB page. She said all she knew about it was it was green and he did ride occasionally.

So IM had a birthday pass by without word...wondering about the kids. If theirs are not acknowledged in any way, whenever they are, that seems more sinister, IMO.

Yes I agree, if he is not already in contact as some believe... I am not convinced he is not in danger or was in danger... I just hope this family finds some answers soon. The unknown is usually more painful. They need closure, one way or the other IMO

And last week I believe, someone posted a pic of a bike and asked if this was the color. IM responded she would have to ask her son. No response yet that I know of. I always thought the bike was a non issue.

A few things I take away from today.....

The lack of RMs scent around the car could be from contamination or maybe he didn't park the car after all.

The preserve is where IM thinks RM is, maybe she's right.

HBO guy has been missing from FB. He mentioned manholes in the preserve. Someone mentioned manholes earlier.

FB seems to be falling apart like the titanic.

In other words, I've got nothing.

Hmmmm. One thing though...if IM knew he was in contact with an old friend that she didn't approve of, I think she would "rat" him out. I think she would say, possibly his last contact was with Joe Blow and then everybody would be scrutinizing him.

I don't think it was a male friend..thus maybe why it hasn't been elaborated on...protect the kids and IM's pride. Ratting him out doesn't seem her style. Doesn't fit in with the perfect life that has been painted. The post by NCNY is arbitrary in the sentence syntax of male meaning the other person or male pronoun meaning RM, IIRC. I think it is a woman friend. May be why he was forgetful with the money and the wallet...anticipation, guilt..who knows except RM.. :twocents:

I think it's called Edgewood Preserve. Google it. It's a nature preserve, hiking trails, biking trails, etc.

The preserve is (i believe) approx 600 acres of pure hell!
Scary scary place. Heavily wooded. Bike trails.
It is creepy.

I fear they truly chased him off. I know I am in great need of an asprin for my head and curiousami's therapist for the anxiety I feel now..

The fb page is worthless. Too much blather. A news anchor asked a very reasonable question, which I have also thought would be good to know in a search: Did RM have a favorite place he liked to visit or would like to visit? Well, some people find the question too intrusive for some reason. I don't think RM will ever be found, IMO.
