would helping 2 people escaping be 2 x charges?
Boy I would throw the book on this misfit
2 times everything!

Law commentators on CNN the other day kept saying how she will be charged for anything they do while they're out because of "furtherance"... heck I'm no lawyer. Let me find a link. But she gets more thrown at her, the more crimes they commit while on the run.

ETA it's called Pari delicto I guess but still can't find a link.

tracking sytem GPS micro chip put into vicious killers! YES I agree!

This is New York, it would take for ever.

Maybe it's time to apply for a gun, especially if you live close to the prison. Can you tell I'm from Texas? Guns DO come in handy at times.:moo:

What are they waiting for re the charges of conspiracy to commit murder?

Source claims she admitted they were gonna murder him. Charge her with conspiracy if they have evidence. IF she's confessed.

She didn't show up. She went to the hospital.

Why didn't she go forward with picking them up, heading to her home and letting them murder her husband?

Something's either seriously wrong with her, or something led her to believe they would off her instead.

Am I reading it right. Her payoff for helping them escape was for them to murder her husband????????????? If so, THUD!

oh ocean, i'm going to have to subscribe you to the queenietimes......i broke this news over five hours ago :D......lol...........good to see you my friend and can you believe this crazy story........every day the plot thickens :notgood:

Here in New York one only needs a permit for pistols, rifles and shotguns are good to go with some restrictions on magazine capacity and silly things like pistol grips and bayonet lugs (as if someone was going to fix a bayonet and run around doing the "stab, twist, pull" routine). As for the SAFE Act, nobody I know has complied (something like an estimated 90% of "assault rifle" owners have refused to comply) and most agencies have stated that they won't enforce it since they feel it would hurt community relations.

 HOLY CANNOLI! Just when you think there is no way this can get any crazier, you find out offing Tillie's husband was part of the plan.

Wow.

I can't decide if I'm more shocked that she intended to have these guys murder him, or that she sang like a canary to LE about it without a lawyer present.

By no means am I a wild crazy Texan, but sometimes it is better to have a gun & not need it than it is to need one & not have it. An assault rifle is not needed. In most cases a pistol or regular rifle will do just fine. Definitely better than a baseball bat.

I wonder if Tillie gave them a GPS device? They had a 5 hour lead, at least, and the only scent picked up for them was at a gas station. All they would need to cross into Canada within a few hours would be an ATV and a GPS.

With a GPS, they could have WALKED to Canada in 8 hours.

Clearly no man can trust Tillie. She's betrayed them all.

Thank you for the proper reply/posting advice, I have been doing both "reply" and "reply with quote" in this thread/topic thinking I was following conversations properly. I grew up in North Tonawanda , Niagara & Erie County and have family / friends there as well as all over Western NY. Websleuths fan for years but I have kept my replies/opinion/theories to a minimum (or not at all). Respectfully with my apologies I will now revert to being a silent observer.

Oh my gosh geekathy, my O/T hint was IN NO WAY directed towards you! I am so sorry that you felt it was directed towards you, but of course now I obviously see why you did. I shouldn't have even included it in my post replying to you, it was just an afterthought and something I thought would be a helpful tip for all of the new posters. It had absolutely nothing at all to do with any of your posts or anyone else's. You are a wonderful addition to WS and please keep posting! I feel absolutely terrible...come back! I'm on a hunger strike until you do, so my life is in your hands...
:stay:

I'm having a hard time understanding why she would want her husband killed if she was planning on running away with Sweat & Matt. If she was going to be taking off with the killers, just let her husband live. It's not like she would be seeing him ever again, right?
