I think right now it is reaching a pretty critical point. They have them boxed in by the perimeter. They are tired, hungry and getting desperate. This is when things can turn ugly, and I really hope they don't. MOO

From all acounts Richard Matt is a sociopath. I would be shocked if both are found together. David Sweat has to be considered a liability to him. I could see Sweat getting a DUI or banging a hooker in parking lot type of thing and getting caught that way.

I don't have a link but last I heard from the DA on CNN the dogs indicate these 2 are still together. Who knows tho how recent those scents are.

While we all have our eyes focused on the north country, I would like to make mention of Colin Gillis, who went missing 3 years ago from Tupper Lake (1 hr 15 mins away from Dannemora). His thread can be found here http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...in-Gillis-18-Tupper-Lake-2am-on-11-March-2012.
Too bad we can't take the resources from this search (after they find the inmates) and send them over to Tupper to once again search for Colin.

Hasn't it rained since their escape? Unless the two found shelter, their clothing is likely clammy and wet. These two dudes don't seem like savvy outdoorsmen, so they are not happy campers. I hope they'll surrender, but something tells me these two won't give up without a fight and probably don't want to be taken alive.

the 7th day!! i know it's the seventh day, but to see it in print.........i can't believe these guys are still in the area considering they had a 5 hour head start......and such a planned out escape from the prison itself......ole tillie really foiled things not showing up, eh?
