Tedisco, Assm Rs want a guard there, one on one, any time a felon of Matt/Sweat's level interacts with a civilian employee. #PrisonBreakNY

^^^ Thought I read that a correctional officer was assigned to the Tailor Shop during Tillie's &/or other civilian employees' interactions when in the shop with the cons?

Thank you Bravo. I recently found this forum and was lurking for a bit but it's been too fascinating and thought provoking for me to stay silent so I joined!!

Awesome. Glad you joined in.

let's hope it was only to tell her to kiss his azalea..............

Maybe to ask her in person if she planned to have him killed..

This is all crazy. I just don't see how anyone could want to be involved in this or thought it would go well for them? She must have been a needy person. Someone who was always looking for someone to like her. Such a shame. Her life is over, They are out and God Forbid they kill someone, She will be held responsible for that too.

I don't get it. First rule I was taught growing up is don't let anyone else get you into trouble. Yours will be enough to deal with..

Her poor family.

As details emerged over potential assistance given to the escapees, officials said there were no Vermont law enforcement representatives stationed at two docks for ferries connecting New York and Vermont about 19 miles from the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, N.Y.
Police were on patrol near the two bridges but not at the ferry terminals, Col. Tom L'Esperance, director of the Vermont State Police, told the Burlington Free Press.

Unbeliveable. I asked here on 6/10 how would they get to VT.
By a ferry? If I remember correctly the Ferries ran every hour.

So no siren -warning the locals that an escape occurred. The State Police were not notified until 05:52. No one check the ferries.

I'm amazed Matt got thru that 24 in. pipe????

Press-Republican filmed a video simulating the escape through a 24 inch pipe. They reported the guy doing the demonstration is a couple of inches shorter than Matt, but is the same weight - 190lbs. That's inaccurate because Matt weighs 210 lbs (https://www.nyspnews.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=45956), but the video shows what a 190 pound guy looks like crawling through a 24 inch pipe.

CEO Larry Jeffords gave Nathan Ovalle, features editor at the Press-Republican, a chance to shimmy through a 4-foot length of a 24-inch diameter pipe to offer newspaper readers a visual of what it was like for inmates Richard Matt and David Sweat to escape via the steam pipe duct at the prison on Saturday.

Ovalle is the same weight as Matt at 190 pounds but 2 inches shorter at 5 feet, 10 inches.

Are those prison shoes that Matt has on with his white socks?

Lets compare them with JM's photo with her orange shoes. He could have taken a sharpie to them to paint them black.

There is a nice photo of her shoes out there. I will try to find.

Police watched bridges. Ferries were unchecked.

<snip>

The Cumberland Head, N.Y., ferry terminal is about 19 miles from Dannemora where the prison is located.

L'Esperance said the New York State Police were "hot and heavy" with patrols and roadblocks, and he assumed they were checking the ferries.

No searches were in place in New York, though, the night of June 6, more than 17 hours after prison guards noticed two convicted murderers were missing from their cells.

<snip>

The focus was only on the bridges in case there was a car chase, L'Esperance said.

BBM ^^^ Is this accurate?

IF so, Tillie was Plan B, a possibility the Sheriff mentioned last night. And they are long gone.

"This piece of legislation is for the top, most violent felons." - Assm. Tedisco #PrisonBreakNY

"This is common sense legislation that we can enact almost immediately and remove one of these avenues of escape." - @SteveMcNY

https://twitter.com/BenAmeyTV

Good Grief. They have to enact new legislation for this!

It should already be common prison policy and I bet it was already part of the existing policy. They just didnt follow their own policies IMO.

Wonder if those ferries have cameras

LMAO Wendy Williams is talking about this and says it should be a Lifetime movie. Starring Tom Greene and George Lopez.

So what was plan A??????

He is totally guessing.
IMO, he needs to stay out of the media unless he has some facts. Take a look at how he says his statements. Just guessing and this cannot be helpful. LOL

I think we are coming up with better ideas than he is. LOL

""I honestly don't think she was 'Plan A,'" Favro said in an interview on CNN. "I think she was 'Plan B.'"

After hatching their elaborate escape plan - which involved cutting through steel walls, slipping through pipes and out through a manhole beyond the prison's fortress-like walls - the pair must have had a more fool-proof means of fleeing the area than depending on Mitchell, Favro said.

"Multiple people" were likely involved in the brazen escape that was discovered at 5:30 a.m. on June 6, after guards found the men's beds in their neighboring cells stuffed with cloth dummies, Favro said
