Thanks SG and jmflu. I'm here and surprisingly not too sleepy LOL
Today is a good day. I helped to catch a criminal today. Several months ago a lady had her wallet taken at a convenience store. I happened to drive up and see a policeman friend of mine talking to her. A few days later he had me meet him at the store to look at the video to see if it was anyone that I recognized. I didn't but a pointed out a few special things about the vehicle. I told him that I would run across that car one day and today is the day. I had just pulled into the Walmart Parking lot and saw what I thought was the car. I got the tag first and then called my friend. He was only 3 minutes away. She was putting her packages into the car when he drove up. She said that the car in the picture and the lady in the picture was her (even though she now has dark hair instead of blond); but that she had taken her wallet into the store. The video says otherwise. So it was her. One less bad guy who thought they would get away with it. Turns out she lives in the one neighborhood that I wouldn't ride through. I told them long ago just to ride through there and they would find the car. (Something about intuition or just a feeling)

I just want to comment briefly on the points raised by Roy in the thread on BC's lawyers. As far as I can tell, the conversation on websleuths is simply that, a conversation. We are following the case. I have learned so much about the way that murder cases evolve from various posters here at websleuths. Everyone shares their expertise, knowledge and other information that may be relevant to the case. Roy, you are certainly entitled to your opinion(s). I think this is a wonderful community where a wide range of views can coexist.

Golo seems to work differently from what I've found. It's based on being able to comment on specific news articles when they are published, but I haven't found a general golo forum in which topics are always available. So if there are no articles on your topic of interest there won't be anywhere on golo to talk about them. Then when an article gets published on the news site people can make their comments utilizing the golo platform, but only along with that article. It's really not a forum per se, as an addition to a news article in which the public can respond back with their comments.
Sure would be wonderful to have some of the thoughtful writers on this forum go on there and turn those trolls around!
I can't imagine trying to have a conversation on golo since it's not setup to do that AND it doesn't attract an audience that is prepared (or necessarily able or interested) to use either higher thinking skills or common sense. Since time is the most precious resource one has, is golo the best use of one's online time? For me, it is not. I'd probably have more success trying to teach my dog to read the works of Shakespeare!
What do ya'll think of 'ole OJ sittin' in the slammer?
What I love the most is that it was NOT headlined. In the end, he was "old news". Ha!I am happy beyond words that he was found guilty on all counts, as I believe the prosecution did prove their case. AND, the coincidence of the verdict coming in on the 13th anniversary of the murder conviction verdict, after the jury had deliberated for 13 hours...poetic justice in every sense of the word.

Missed it. Darn. Wonder if there is a link to it.It was headlined on Drudge Report! Heh. I was glad there were no racial issues or protesting in the street. Did you watch SNL Sat? On the Weekend Update segment they did a little blurb on the conviction and it was hilarious.
