Most states currently do not allow profiles to be checked against offenders/arrestees whisk I think is nuts just considering the sheer numbers and how many people could potentially be identified.

After reading and viewing this sad story regarding this little four year old boy, I can remember when my son was 4 years old. By that age, he had certainly had his first hair cut, and to me, it was a big deal (with tears for me, etc.). Looking at this photo and the length of his hair, it makes me wonder if this little one was neglected, etc., because you don't normally see children this age with hair that long unless they are neglected (and I emphasize "normally"). If my four year old was missing, I would be a permanent fixture in a police station, IMHO, JMO, MOO.

I see what you are saying and I think, for sure, that this the work of a parent but the article does say that he doesn't appear to be suffering malnutrition, so he was not neglected in that sense, at least:

Like I said before, he reminds me of Gianni and Joseph Jr. McStay. They were 3 & 4 and had the long hair their Dad did.
 
my son is 4 :*(

some ppl grow their boys hair out. my nephew's parents have his hair long.

some cultural traditions honor long hair. I see lots of young Native boys with long locks.
 
IMO he's got pretty distinctive teeth. I hope someone recognizes this little guy.

Wow. So confusing. In an earlier link there was the interview with the daughter of the woman whose house it was. The remains were found in the backyard. The mother had moved out because of the fire. In the background of this interview, I would say that is the white house to the left across the street- clearly with work going on. Also looks like that house if you zoom into the address 12902 on maps. Was there a guy living at the house with the mother? Or is this gentleman interviewed referring to a neighbor (he waves and the camera follows)? The neighbor seems to be saying that it's a quiet street where nothing like this ever happens, except for one occasion with a man who killed his girlfriend, and that guy was quiet and nothing happened at his house except for occasional pizza deliveries. Did he say the man who killed his girlfriend had a son? Is he recalling something recent? How come he remembers this incident and not the Diaz/Sloane thing?

I can't believe yet another case with unidentified child remains! The nose looks like it might be native South American?

How come the remains were split between two bags? Was the body already skeletonized when it was placed in the bags?

I would want to know about the crews working on the house after the fire, they would know of the availability of the site as a 'dump site'.

According to the daughter of the house owner the house had been on fire. I wonder when/at what date this fire was and if something from the bag or remains could be retrieved to determine the body was put there before or after the fire...or otherwise. Did anybody read something about that?

Can anyone find out which date the fire occurred? My guess is it may have been before this child’s remains were concealed in the yard.
 
I tried hunting it down, but I think someone is going to need to call the fire department and ask to get that information.
