I just noticed Stewart received bond of $2M and Clark is waiting to have bond set. Just curious, does everyone in America get bond?

I don't think they're supposed to set it so high no one can make bond if bond is set, but seems they do. How it appears anyway

oh and no, I think bond should just be denied all these critters, dont' know why it's even offered but JMO

Unfortunately, my supposition in post #285 was correct the only known previous contact between the Chumneys and the perpetrators was tied to the return of Mr. Chumney's repaired lawnmower from the lawn care company.

(Chief Deputy Orvis) Campbell says the murders were premeditated even though Clark met the Chumneys only once while helping to deliver a repaired lawnmower. Campbell says the Chumneys were forced from their home during a robbery and shot along a rural road near Bakersville where they were left in their car as it was set on fire. Campbell says Clark and Stewart got away with only a small amount of cash and some other items from the Chumney home.

The Mohave County Sheriff’s Department in Kingman, Arizona, has confirmed that Robert R. “Bobby” Clark is currently en route to Tuscarawas County through an extradition process.

His arrival date and time could not be released due to transportation security reasons...

Once Clark returns to Ohio, he will be served an arrest warrant from Coshocton Municipal Court and make an appearance at an initial hearing. At the hearing, Clark’s bond will be set and a preliminary hearing will be scheduled. He will be housed in the Tuscarawas County Jail in New Philadelphia. Trials for Clark will be held in Coshocton County.

The "violent nature" of the crime Robert R. Clark is suspected of committing and the fact he crossed multiple state lines, which officials say was to avoid prosecution, is basis enough for a $5 million bond, Prosecutor Jason Given argued on Tuesday in Municipal Court.

Judge Timothy France accepted the state's bond request with no objection from Clark...

Clark requested the appointment of a public defender before France scheduled him for a preliminary hearing at 9 a.m. Feb. 27.

The minutes ticked by as Judge Robert Batchelor read aloud the 15 charges against Robert R. Clark, as well as the multiple specifications attached to each one...

And when all was said and done, Clark, just as his co-defendant Jeffery C. Stewart did two days earlier, entered a not guilty plea to all counts listed in his 28-page indictment...

While Stewart also faces the same charges, his does not include specifications that make him eligible for the death penalty. In his case, the aggravated murder charges carry a maximum sentence of life without parole, and the other five charges carry up to 11 years each.

The autopsy report has been released. In this article it says they were bound with duck tape, shot & then set on fire. It states that Lillian was still alive when the car was set on fire. My heart is absolutely breaking! How in the heck can these evil monsters live with themselves after committing such atrocious acts?!!!

Nooooooo! I can't even believe this. I'm so sad for these lovely people and their families. How do you deal with that kind of knowledge? My heart goes out to their families.
